Sun expossure
Yesterday I began coming down or off a Lupus/MCTD flare. Started feeling great. It's been 95 to 101 degrees outside. We have several plants to plants to finish off our flower beds. It was 88 degrees when I went outside to help my husband. I stayed in the shade until my husband dug one hole for a pompous plant. It took about 30 minutes to plant and set out 6 rose bushes. I got super hot and had to go in. About two hours later I had to lay down. My joints were killing me. I slept 4 hours. I ate dinner and went back to bed. Slept until 4:30am. My joints were killing me when I woke up. I laid in bed for 2 hours then got up. I ate breakfast and went back to bed at 9:00am. I slept until 11:45am. I ate lunch and went back to bed at 1:00pm. I slept until 4:00pm. All my joints hurt and were swollen. I now have a sore throat too. 30 minutes of sun the day before put me back into a full blown flare again. This is no way to live. Thank goodness for my husband and Daily Strength!

You have my sympathy! It\'s tough to be limited, due to sun sensitivity. I\'m unable to tolerate the sun for more than a couple of minutes, due to my own illness. I know it is practically impossible to dodge the sun and heat in TX in the summer. Hope you feel better soon!
