Summer sunflowers! :) A nice sunday, gardening, and writing :)
Happy Sunday! :) The sunflowers, and plants are soaking up the sunshine today, and i gave the plants a nice watering :) It's a great sunday :) my brother Charlie came over to help my dad fix a part on the minivan :) Kayla and Taylynn went to their friend's birthday party across the street :) It's a spirited day, with nature, gardening, writing, and i even put some dvds on too :) i'm very excited, about how well the plants are doing, as they grow and flourish, during these golden days of the summer season :) i put some nice organic soil, around the stem bases of some plants, i also weeded one of our gardens too :) i love to freshen up our gardens :) we have 2 more gourds growing :) i got some nice cabbage soup with string beans cooking on the stove earlier today :) i love to have some nice cabbage soup :) i'm very excited, to be enjoying some nice writing time, here in my writing area :) Blossoming into another great summer week :) CHEERS!!! to family, friends, and to the spirit of the season :)
Sunny sunflower smiles, sent with our love :) Hi angel friends :) my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a great day :) The golden days of summer are here, as we've reached mid-august :) our plants, and gardens are soaking up some awesome sunshine today :) smiling and shining, and continuing to glow and grow, as the season continues on :) it's very wholesome times in the season too :) Seeing string beans, tomatoes, peppers, to pick, and also our corn plants growing wild :) We have a beautiful rainbow of summer colors, flowers blossoming beautifully :) We're taking in all of the great joys, of these special times of the season :) my family and i are enjoying a nice sunday :)
This morning, my brother Charlie came over to help my dad, with fixing a part, on our minivan. :) Kayla and Taylynn went to their friend's house across the street, to celebrate their friend's birthday :) They've been having an awesome time there :) my mom's been doing some things around the house, and i've been blossoming into some nature walks, gardening, tending our plants, and also writing :) This afternoon, i put some episodes of "the walking dead" show on :) Tonight, Holly and i are gonna watch 2 episodes, from season 2, with our portable dvd players :) We both have the season 2 dvd set :) i recently bought the dvds for her, and she and i have been enjoying watching the episodes on sunday nights, as the new season of show, and the new prequel show, approaches :) We're gonna definitely check out the prequel show, beginning next sunday, and in October, we want to watch the 6th season :) it's gonna be spook-tacular!!! :)
Today, i did some really nice garden tending :) i pulled some weeds, from our garden :) i also gave our plants, a really good soaking, with the water nourishment :) it's been getting hotter outside, and there's lots of sunshine. i pace myself, with the tending of the plants :) i'm really proud, of the plants :) We've had 2 planters, that were full of soil, mostly organic soil, and nothing grew in those planters, so i've been using that soil, for the other plants, including putting the soil around the stem bases of the plants, to help the plants flourish, and grow :) it feels good, to be in the garden, tending the plants, freshening up the gardens for these golden days of summer time :) with the plants, i've grown into the season too, and it's a really rewarding feeling :)
Seeing lots of happy birds, and butterflies, visiting our gardens, it's a great feeling :) nature, and g ardening is wholesome :) Today, i got some cabbage soup cooking on the stove, and i added some string beans, from our garden, into the soup :) it makes me very happy, enjoying some goodies, from the garden, with cooking, and baking :) We have some great tomatoes growing, and more jalapeno peppers, and bell peppers too :) my mom loves to cook bell peppers, with onions, sausage, and pasta from time to time, to make a nice dinner :) The gardens have given us a lot this season, and i'm so thrilled, to be dedicating sunflowers to friends, all around the world :) We've been blessed with amazing growing season, and the bugs/insects haven't eaten our plants, which has been a blessing .in recent years, we had some troubles growing some plants, due to the insects, and bugs, but this year, it's been rolling along really well :)
We have 5 beautiful new sunflower blossoms, in our garden today :) many of the sunflowers, blossom overnight :) during the day time, they will blossom a bit, but it's those moon lit nights, where the moon is up in the sky, that light, from the moon, helps the sunflowers complete their journey's, and it's so neat, and cool, to see a sunflower half blossomed, then go to out in the morning, to see it fully blossomed, and ready to soak up some sunshine, with lots of happy sunny smiles :) the gardening season is gonna continue :) we usually have a garden, until the first frost in October, so there's a good, 2 months of garden time left, and it's really nice :) i absolutely can't wait, to pick apples, peaches, pears, and also harvesting corn too :) i want to make some more fresh homemade salsa too :) Thank you all, for celebrating this amazing season with us :) it's a beautiful time to soak up some garden joys :) i love gardening :)

love your pic ..beautifull flowers ..and the sunflowers ..are beautifull ..nice corn and apples ..ready to eat ..and squash ......getting there .......we have picked two squash ..good size ..but out peas did not do good at all ..and our swishchard is trying to go to sead ..and I am not finished with it so I am cutting off the parts that are trying to go to seed ...not many string beans eather ..our naber sprayed a wead killer on his lawen a while back and on our side of the fence right beside our garden is a foot and a half that is compleatly dead ..and the plants on that side of the garden like the string beans ..and peas have done terable so we belive that they got some of that spray ..because the plants on the other bed that is ..in a nother box ..two feet away did realy good ...and .one day he was spraying he was facing me ..I was near my pool and he was on the other side of my drive way ..spraying and I felt some of it hit my legs so I went right in and washed .....there was a little breake ..so I gess that is why he was facing my way ...I was not impressed .....I haven\'t read your post yet ..but I love the pics ...take care ..God bless ....I looked at how you are doing ..and ware is says you can add encouragment ...so I am offering you my encouragement you are doing great ..but if I press on that I get taken away and have a hard time getting out of there and back here ..lol ...
