Summer Schoolugh!
Well, my son has failed both Algebra & Freshman English. At the very least—in order to have a chance of graduating on time—he needs to make up English during summer school. Which started today (and we just got the mailing today!). $230.00. 1 whole month. We provide the transportation.
He’s going to absolutely hate this. Now, I know he has to do this. However, I’m afraid that he won’t try AT ALL (out of rebelling against it), thereby wasting all that $ & not to mention time. Also, since he has already missed the 1st day, I know that will discombobulate him. But what else can I do?
I’ve tried getting advice from our contact at the Development Center, but she has not replied to my email.
I’m already financially frustrated. Had to get a new battery for the car & the other car needs new tires. Both need an oil change. I am getting a 3rd check & a bonus this month, but that’s not till the end of the month. Meanwhile expenses are coming in.
On a positive note, administrative work on my aunt’s estate is moving ahead. Looks like it’s going to be real simple, since she had practically nothing.
