Summer=Pool=Bummer for me
What do visiting relatives, a pool, and Florida sunshine have in common? Yep, everyone is having a grand time in the pool while I sit on the sidelines, not even able to put on a pair of shorts and a tank top to soak up the sun.
Why? It's not because I am 300 lbs and extremely self conscious. No, that isn't it at all. I have a beautiful bathing suit I could put on and not feel self conscious at all. Nope, what is holding me back is being on my 52nd straight day of a mostly heavy flow period. I feel like it will never end. I cannot wear tampons or things of that sort because of my issues, and so I cannot get in the pool or wear light colors at all.
So, it is like nearly 90 degrees outside and I am sitting in my room, with a window looking out at the pool, hearing all the merriment, but I can't join in. Yeah, not depressing at all.

I am so sorry about your flow. That is awful. What is the dr doing about all of this? You should try putting on some nice music, take a cold shower and imagine you\'re in the pool. I am thinking of you and praying things get better.
