Summer not what I thought it would be

I was really looking forward to the warm weather this summer because the winter was so long and cold. I was hoping to be able to get outside more, to do more and just to enjoy the nice weather. My asthma flare up that started in May and continues now makes most enjoyment impossible. The humidity and heat make my asthma worse not to mention pollen. No a/c in the apartment and can't open the windows when pollen is moderate or high so it's always hot in here. I'm not sure when we will be able to get an a/c.  It's hard to get an a/c back here without a vehicle. Hopefully if we get an a/c at Costco they will let us use their phone to call a taxi. We have no cell phones and there aren't any payphones in Costco. It's hard to do much of anything on the days when my asthma is really bad. I want to clean more especially the bathroom. I will just have to try to do it early and have the fan blowing on me the entire time. Prednisone is making me bloated, moon face, and makes my feet and hands swell. I don't have much of an appetite and don't really care much about food. Still having bowel and digestive issues since my colon resection. I'm still adding foods back into my diet. I never know from one day to the next what my digestive will be like. I stay in most of the time except for errands, doctors/blood tests/scans appointment and Fridays when I go to the mall.
