SUMMER IS HERE IN AUSTRALAIA
Greetings from the Land Downunder,
Well here it is the dying days of October and we are having bush fires, floods and unreasonable weather.Oh we are also having snow in the alps. Well that is Australia for you. There will be no gentle intordution to summer this year, no it is summer and that is that. Guess it could be worse, I could be living in the northern hemisphere awaiting winter.
Apart from the climate the political envirnoment has also changed here in Australia, we have a new national government, and a new Prime Minister. Mr Abbott is a true conservative, anti all things that the majority of Australians agree with or don't care about. The big thing here soon is going to be the same sex marriage issue. I think that the community is well divide on this issue, you either agree or disagree, there are few sitting on the fence.
My health is good and I am getting my weight under control, I have been on a diet since April and have lost 19 kilos. So I am feeling really great and now am able to go the beach and not have to fear being rolled back into the sea ( I could have easily been mistake for a large white whale stranded on the beach) ; now I just look like the rest ( no, not really)
