Summer Garden Growing so nicely! :) keeping cool, with sunflower smiles :)
Summer sunshine, nature, gardens growing wild, and iced green tea CHEERS!!! to begin this sweet new week :) thank you angel friends :) my mom's feeling better today :) She's continuing to take it easy, and resting :) She treated herself to a nice bagel this morning :) i got an iced green tea :) it's refreshing, especially on a hot/humid summer day. i gave our plants a nice watering, i took my time, as i watered the plants :) i picked our 1st ripe tomato of the season, and also picked some more string beans :) the plants are thriving :) i am super pumped up and excited, about how well the plants are doing :) while resting today, i enjoying some time online, and put some movies on :) Holly and i enjoyed watching on amazon, the season 5 finale of the walking dead show :) We're getting pumped up for the new prequel WD show starting next month :) We'll be able to watch it on tv. :) sweet! :) i'm doing some writing :) it's a nice start to the new week :) Tomorrow's sweet treats tuesday :) We'll be going out to get some treats :)
Hi angel friends! :) Summer smiles, and iced green tea cheers to you, on this nice day, to begin the new week :) my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a great day :) the weather has really gotten hot, and humid. it could be an official heat-wave here, this week. we're keeping cool, and comfortable :) my mom is feeling better :) She layed down early last night, and got a good night's rest :) She had a nice iced tea earlier in the evening too :) This morning, my sister Lisa went to pick up Alyssa, and they went to mcdonalds, and starbucks :) they picked up some treats for us :) my mom got a bagel, and i got an iced green tea :) i've been putting some movies on today, while resting, and spending some time online, here in my computer room :) these iced green teas are great, and have a nice taste of mint :) it's a great day to enjoy some iced cold drinks, as we have one of our hottest days of the summer season here.
The birds were up early this morning, especially the bluejays, and the "tweet tweet" birds, that visit our area, during summer time :) i got a big bowl of goodies, for the birds and squirrels, and went out into our yard, and gardens :) i put the goodies around. :) the birds were going wild, singing :) i was checking in on the plants, and just love to stand in amazement, of the nature, that has grown so much, over the past month :) the plants are growing so tall, and i saw we have our 1st, red ripened tomato, in the garden :) i was so happy to pick the tomato, and showed my mom and dad the tomato :) it's so nice, and summer fresh, harvesting goodies :) These are some of othe best days of the season, getting to harvest, and the great feelings of the gardening rewards, is awesome! :) We have lots of string beans plants growing, that are producing string beans too :) i love to be deep into our garden, and picking the beans :) they are so nice, delicious, and healthy :) i'm so happy we planted extra bush beans this year too :)
String beans, grow very fast :) 1 day, the string beans will be 2 inches long, the next day, they are nearly 4 to 5 inches long :) i love to pick the beans, and i have a nice bowl of string beans in the evening, or night time, for snack, one of my favorite summer joys :) the plants are really in all of their sunny summer growing glory right now :) from flowers, to fruits and vegetables plants, pumpkin plants, gourds, and also our fruit trees, are doing amazing! :) it's so neat to see, all of the fruit growing, and we have more blueberries growing this year too :) the blueberry bushes are over by our peach tree, and golden delicious apple tree :) the blueberries are summer fresh :)
i feel a great sense of joy, seeing how well our plants are doing, and getting to share our gardens with everyone here on ds :) i love taking pictures to share, and making a video from time to time :) With it being very hot/humid weather, these days the plants need more water. i like to water the plants a bit earlier, on days like this, so they have plenty of nourishment to keep them healthy, and happy all throughout the season :) One of my favorite things about gardening, is watering the plants :) It's great :) We'll be seeing lots of sunflower blossoms soon, and more harvesting :) the sweet corn plants, have grown so much :) i'm just so amazed, at how the husks are beginning to grow :) the corn plants remind me, of the nice corn fields we saw the other day, during our garden ride adventure :) i look forward to many more gardening joys, throughout this amazing summer season :)
Here in my computer room, i've had some cool movies on, during the day :) i've had my fan on, and also put another fan here in my computer room, on my table :) i also conserve energy on hot days like today, by only putting 1 or 2 lamps on, it helps keep my computer room cooler, during these hot days. Last night, Holly and i watched the season 5 finale, of the walking dead show :) She and i were gonna watch that episode in late march, and we both have talked with eachother about how special it would be, to us both to be able to finally watch it together :) Last night, on amazon, we ordered the episode for $1.99 on the amazon instant video :) we tried to find it online for free, but couldn't find a good link, but it was great, on amazon, and has us both very excited, for the new "fear the walking dead" show, and the 6th season of the walking dead show, coming up, in the upcoming months :) it's gonna be sweet!!! :) i may even treat myself to a few more comics, and the funko mystery minis :) i love to collect those :) when i get doubles of the collectibles, i like to send them to friends :)

Wow those green beans look good and so does your tomato! Didn\'t know string beans grew that fast!! Glad your taking it easy and giving your garden extra water in the heat. Its HOT here too. Hi Chris I looked over the past few days of journals, wow so many beautiful pics.I Love the pretty Birthday cake you had for Lisa, and the road trip pics, wow it sure is pretty up there, and I was way surprised to see that you have string beans already ! That garden is growing super fast. Oh and your cookies from last Friday where also looking super yummy ! You sure stay active and enjoy life.I am so happy that you do. We are on day 38 of temperatures in the high 90\'s, so we are just trying to keep cool.I made a smoothie from frozen watermelon, that was a great way to cool down.I wish I had some fun days like you.Keep it up. i have a hard time seeing snd hard time as fingers get often computer key pad and than hard for people to read. my friends will have to understand this is the way it will be and might even get worse tell god calls me home. i am looking forward having play at my furnal mass don\'t cry for me the white ships are in the harbor to car me home from the lord of the ring movies.
