Summer Car Ride Adventure, Westerly, Rhode Island, Pawcatuck, CT, Bess Eaton's Donuts! :)

GREETINGS, FROM THE SUMMER TIME ROADS, OF MYSTIC, CT, WESTERLY RHODE ISLAND, AND PAWCATUCK, CT! :) a SWEET SUMMER DAY OF TRAVELING, CRUISING, AND BESS EATON ICED COFFEE TREATS!!! :) whooo!!! :) my mom, dad, and i enjoyed an awesome time today, cruising the summer time roads! :) We made a very special visit, to the Bess Eaton's donuts shop :) We got a dozen donuts, and iced coffees, and cruised around :) it was so much fun! :) We saw lots of cool destinations, including the historic Mystic River, Mystic Aquarium, and we also went to an old school/old fashioned walmart in Groton, CT :) i was thinking of you all, and took lots of pictures today :) i found 2 super cool hotwheels cars at walmart! :) it was so nice, sight seeing, and enjoying the adventure :) You all were with us in spirit :) on the way home, my mom, dad, and i treated ourselves to a few lottery scratch tickets too! :) it's a reall nice day, and has been wonderfully sunny at times :) We drove across some bridges, and also got to see so much! :) a summer time treat! :) we love our car ride adventures :) it's a beautiful sunday! :)
Hi angel friends! :) greetings, from the summer time roads, of CT, and RI! :) awww! :) my mom, dad, and i had such a great time today, going out for a car ride adventure :) We've been looking forward to going out, and making a special visit, to one of our all time favorite donuts/coffee shops, Bess Eaton's! :) back in the 1990's, there use too be a Bess Eaton's, that was here in our city, which then moved, and tim horton's moved into the restaurant. There is one more Bess Eaton around our area now, which is in Westerly, Rhode Island :) Which isn't too far from us :) We're very close to Rhode Island, and use too go there all the time , in the 80's and 90's :) It's like right next door to Connecticut :) i've been thinking of you all often today, and i am so happy, and excited to share all about adventure :) We hope everyone is having a great day! :)
CRUISING THE SUMMER TIME ROADS! :) for as long as i can remember, my family and i have enjoyed summer time car rides :) We've traveled the New England States, over the years : )From Connecticut down to New Jersey, and all the way up through Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine :) We love to go for these nice car rides, and it seems like we're so close, to these other states, it gives us a really good opportunity, to cruise around :) Around mid-day today, my mom, dad, and i were all set, and ready to go cruising! :) my dad mentioned going to the Bess Eaton's donut shop :) it's a really nice place, we went there last summer :) i think it's so neat, that they still have some Bess Eaton's around :) They are the original maker, of the iced coffee :) August 2000, when Bess Eaton's was still in our city, is where my mom and Lisa bought my very first, Hazelnut iced coffee :) Every since then, i've been hooked on iced coffees! :) i love it! :)
We began our super fun crusing adventures today :) i brought my camera, as i wanted to take some pictures :) We drove down one of the inner streets of Norwich, as we drove past some of the car dealerships, and then went across the Pequot Bridge :) it's over the Thames River :) You can see the Mohegan Sun Boulevard, Casino, and across the way, is the historic Norwich State hospital site, where the ghost hunters went :) i texted our dear friend Holly, i said, "Holly, n-state is right across the way from us!" She was excited to hear that :) one of our all time favorite GH episodes, is when they went to Norwich State :) spooky! my mom, dad, and i cruised into Preston, CT, and drove past the Bouey 17 marker, where my brother Bobby sometimes goes fishing. :) he loves to go fishing there, it's down the wayside from the Drawbridge, where we went blueshell crabbing last summer, and i saw a shooting star there :) it was awesome! :) i remember when i was younger, my brother use too take us fishing down there in the early mornings: ) We'd build a small campfire, and would eat egg sandwiches, and watching my brother Bobby fish :) he's a the fisherman of our family :)
After we cruised through Preston today, we ended up in Gales Ferry, Connecticut, where the Bills Baseball card shop use too be, where my dad and i would go wild ever friday evening, buying baseball, football, and basketball sports trading cards :) the Ocean State Job Lot store is nearby there :) We were enjoying a really nice talk, and car ride :) We were having some potato chips, as we cruised along :) We drove past one of the largest sub bases in the world, the Groton, CT Sub Base :) i took a picture of the entrance, which shows 2 huge submarines :) We were in Groton, and drove the highway, over into the historic Mystic Village area, where there's a scenic overlook, of the Mystic River, and Tall Ships, from the 1800's :) there's legends that say, some of those ships are haunted! :) i hope the ghost hunters gets to go there someday, to film an episode :) We were driving past the Mystic, Aquarium, where Kayla and Taylynn went on field trips last school year, and i remember going there too, and use too see the Dolphins shows :)
We drove into the Stonington, Connecticut area, and also the Pawcatuck, CT town :) we were right near where Barn Island is, across from the Watch Hill, Rhode Island lighthouse area, and then drove into the Westerly, Rhode Island, which is like 2 streets over from Pawcatuck, CT :) it's really nice, there's a town there, buildings, we saw some people out and about, walking :) We saw Bess Eaton's donut shop :) my mom and dad went in, they bought a dozen donuts, and some iced coffees :) SWEET!!! :) we even got one for my sister Lisa :) we knew she'd be very happy :) we were enjoying the adventures, so very much :) the donuts are so nice, i had a Boston Creme donut, and sipping my vanilla iced coffee, with the crushed ice, my favorite! :) every time i ship a nice iced coffee from Bess Eaton's, it makes me think of summer times of the past 14 years :) So cool, sweet, and refreshing :)
my mom and dad mentioned going into the Groton, CT walmart, which is an old fashioned, walmart, that's not a supercenter. :) i said, "sure, i'd love to check out the hotwheels" :) we were cruising back into Groton, and then made our way over to walmart :) this is a small walmart store, we were browsing around, it wasn't that busy :) my dad bought some new socks, and we also bought some cat food, and i looked at the hotwheels aisles :) they had so many different kinds of hotwheels cars there! :) i bought one for our dear friend Holly, and her brother Robert, who is a star trek show fan :) They had a special Star Trek themed hotwheel car :) i texted Holly to let her know, these cool hotwheels i found, she was really excited :) We browsed around walmart a bit, the aisles were very small there, just like how our walmart use to be, so it gave it a really old school feeling, to the shopping experience :) it went really well :) we went up some of the food aisles, and then checked out :) i was thrilled that i found 2 cool hotwheels cars :)
We began our journey home :) We stopped by a henny penny gas station place, i had a $2 lottery ticket winner, my mom and dad went in, and picked up some tickets, my mom won $5 on a ticket, i won a free ticket. : )Very cool! :) my dad and mom also cashed in their daily number lottery winner, $41.50 for the drawing they won last night, numbers 361 :) very cool! :) We began to drive closer to home, and my mom said, "lets go to the other henny penny, so we got some more tickets, i won $2. :) very cool! :) my mom and dad bought some more tickets too, they're scratching the lottery tickets :) we arrived home, and i watered our plants in our front yard :) the plants were so happy, to get a nice watering :) i thanked my mom and dad, for the awesome car ride adventure, sight seeing :) i took some sweet pictures to share with everyone :) it was so nice! :) my family and i would love to take this time, to share with everyone, about some beautifully heart warming, and very special gifts, and treasures we recieved :)

Colette, and her family sent us, a beautiful friendship card :) the card is so nice, it's a special kitchen/antiques themed card :)i know Colette, and her family love to cook, and bake, and during the summer season, they enjoy harvesting goodies from their garden :) i remember one time, Colette shared with me, about how she made homemade ketchup :) Very cool, and exciting to hear about the process, of making ketchup :) i've been sending Colette, and her family some nature/garden pictures, from our gardening journey this season :) She has shared some pictures from her's and her family's adventures :) Colette, and her family also sent us, 2 beautiful Canada Flag pins, and a Franco Ontariens pin :) wow! :) These are so neat, and very cool! :)
i remember, when i sent Colette, and her family an email, and mentioned about how i collect pins/buttons, she mentioned that she and her family wanted to sent me some pins, and buttons :) This is so wonderful of them :) i am so happy, and thrilled to add these nice new pins, to my pins collection :) i have a special wooden box, where i keep my pins, i love to open the box, and looking at my pins i have collected over the years, and have recieved from family and friends :) Each one, is very special, precious, and unique :) Colette and her family recently went on a summer adventure, at the lake they live nearby, and Colette made some super cool and colorful bracelets, for Kayla, Taylynn, and Mikey :) awww! :) they love them, and say "thanks!" :) i sent Colette, and her family a nice email, to thank them, for these wonderful gifts, and treasures :) i'm putting our lovely card, in my writing area :) my family and i are so happy, thankful, and blessed, to have you all in our lives : )The joy, happiness, peace, and excitement you all bring to our days, and our lives, is very special, and a wonderfully heart-felt joy :) We love these beautiful gifts, and treasures, Colette and her family sent us, and will always cherish, and treasure them :) Colette, family, my family and i thank you all so very much! :) We deeply appreciate your kindness, and generousity, with all of the love of our hearts :) sending lots and lots of love, and happy sunny friendship smiles across the miles, from our hearts, and home to yours :)
We're enjoying a SUPER COOL summer day! :) car ride adventure! :) Spirit soaring memories being made :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits :) Kayla and Taylynn went to visit with Taylynn's dad's parents :) they had a nice visit :) our plants are doing really well, we've had some nice sunshine from time to time today :) i'm so happy, we got to enjoy a nice car ride adventure :) We'll definitely go out for some more car rides soon :) The upcoming week, is gonna be a relaxing, and peaceful one :) we have a really relaxing week coming up, as we've had some big days and weeks in recent weeks, it's gonna be nice, dwelving into some writigns :) i'm gonna finish up a nice new letter, plus i''m gonna write postcards, and putting together a treasures package :) Enjoying nature walks, sweet treats tuesday, super wednesday post office adventure, ghost hunters party, and lots more, leading us into a super fun, String Beans Casserole/Lighthouses themed baking friday adventure next friday :) Life is very special, and precious :) Each day, is a wonderful gift, and treasure :) my family and i thank you all, for joining us on our adventures, and for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP SUNNY SUMMER FRIENDSHIP HUGS :) tonight, i'm going to watch some tv for a little while, and going to get a good night's rest :) There's many more great things to look forward too :)
