Sucks

I'm so out of it. I feel like my obsessions are the strongest that theyhave ever been. I barely get any rest, have no appetite. I feel likeI'm falling apart. The worst part about this is that where my ritualsor mental compulsions used to help, they don't work anymore. Theyaren't helping me with the anxiety my obsessions are causing. Does thatmean that I have gone to something other than OCD? I have been onZoloft a little over a month now, at a relatively lose dose still, butshouldn't I feel something? Should I continue on with it? I hope thisdoesn't mean it won't work, I do know they will probably increase thedosage.I'm having a hard time getting out of my house. I don't have panicattacks, but I feel so anxious all day long. What other things can I doto help this?Somebody talk to me, I feel so alone.

I remember when I lost weight bc the anxiety got so strong. I tried Lexapro and then went to Prozac and that helped me. I dont know what else you could have gone over to except just a generalized anxiety disorder. Last year was one of the hardest times in my life. Are you seeing a therapist?

After a month on zoloft you should be seeing at least some amount of relief. You may need to see your dr and talk about an adjustment. It took me a few months of readjusting and playing around with the dosage before i saw any significant change. Good Luck! >^..^

OCD is on the anxiety scale. I don\'t have it but people make rituals sometimes when they have the anxiety. The Zolofty didn\'t work for me. It can take up to six weeks for it to truely kick in and sometimes they need to adjust your dose. I would recommend talking to your dr though if you feel like something has changed. Hang in there. Finding the right meds can be trial and error for a little bit. I tried Zoloft, Lexapro and finally did better on Effexor. It\'s not gone completely and that\'s why I am in cognitive behavioral therapy. It\'s a combination of things that will help. Have you looked into Dr. Claire Weekes book Hope and Health for your nerves? It\'s really really good and you can get it for about 6.99 on Amazon.com I would recommend it highly. Hang in there. I\'m on here a lot so leave me a message or hug if you need to talk. If I am on I will talk to you!
