Successful MVD Day

On Jan 26, 2010, I went in for a scary but hopeful procedure.  I had microvascular decompression of the right trigeminal nerve branch at the point where it sends sensation to the lower right  portion of my jaw muscles and teeth as well as the lower gums.   I am excited to report that there are NO more abnormal pain pulses in my mouth at all.  I realize it's only 1/31/2010 but we have a good prognosis judging from research I've done and other testimonies.  Please do your own question/answer sessions with your surgeon if you are considering this procedure.  If it is a treatment option for you, I hope it helps.
