SUCCESS, so far...
Hello, friends,Just giving you an update on my quitting smoking. I've made it without one cigarette & with only 2 losenges for 26 yrs/3 min. I really did surprise myself at being able to accomplish this. I try my best not to think about smoking, & if a thought comes, I quickly switch to thinking of something else. I wonder if quitting smoking makes you tired. I slept last night from 11 pm til 12:00 pm...13 hrs. Maybe it's due to boredom, I don't know. But, it's one way to pass the time without smoking. Not one I'll want to keep up, but if it helps for now, that's a good thing.I've been able to think mostly on good things this whole time, too. So far, anyway, I haven't had the crabbiness that can come along with quitting. I did decide not to spend too much time with John for awhile tho, just because, sometimes he'll do or say something, & I'll react with anger...anger is a real trigger to start smoking again. So, some time apart will be good. :)Well friend, I may not have a chance to answer all of your messages & journals today, because I am a little edgy, & my mind isn't working at full bore. If I don't write today, I'll get back to you in a day or two, ok?Love to you all,DebiP.S. THANK YOU FOR PRAYING...IT'S MUCH APPRECIATED (& WORKING).
