Stupid stuff

I call this educational (but I can`t ever seem to get the lesson right). My brother asked me if I could help him yesterday .Of course I said ok because I wasn`t doing anything anyhow .I knew he had to get his shed at their old place emptied out because they sold that place .But I underestamated what all he had in it .I thought at the most all he would have in there was some lawn and garden tools and maybe a lawn mower. Boy was I wrong ,he had all sorts of stuff and of course none of it was light lifting .Before we were done I thought I was going to die but kept pushing myself .Last night I paid for it by not being able to sleep because of pain and something that I call stingers (sharp pains that feel like something is stinging you). The worst ones were the ones that happen in the bottom of my feet or in my toes .KILLER !!!! I have had them before but not like last night .It was all over ,from my shoulders to the tips of my toes .Don`t know if anyone else has ever had something like this,I know it was a first for me .Don`t get me wrong,I have had all sorts of problems from the SM and had these things happen before but not with the same intensity and in so many different areas .I felt like I was loosing my mind .Has this ever happened to any one else .

Hi Monte,
hope you are feeling a little better today. I don\'t think we will ever get the lesson right - in my case, because I am so determined to maintain my independence and mobility which means that you have to do those \"normal\" things no matter what price you pay afterwards.
I think I know what you mean by the stingers. I also often get them in my toes and also my arms and hands. Not sure what it is, but pretty sure it has got to be something to do with nerves.

When they happen it makes me jerk at first and then it just keeps on getting worse .I rub it but it just dosen`t go away for some time .Then when I think it is over it starts agian somewhere else .It keeps me jumping and jerking and rubbing so much that I am afraid to go out of the house .

Monte,
I totally understand. The jerking and jumping is such a pain and again, one of those things other people just don\'t understand. For some reason, people seem to find it amusing and do not seem to understand that these are not things that we can control. I have often been laughed at because of the amount of involuntary movement in my body and that can be very upsetting.
