Stupid Question #1
Just slept 14 hours, feel like a Mac truck hit me, backed up, and hit me again.
Bones and muscles hurt, basically everywhere. Snap, crackle and pop.
Husband says, "Maybe you slept too much?"

I fully believe that a persons own body can tell them how much sleep the body is needing at any particular time especially when living with a medical condition, but, I think it can be possible that total inactivity for an extended period of time can maybe not too good either. I know with me when those times hit I do find I feel better if I go for, say, even a slow small walk, even if it\'s just around the block & breath in some fresh air. It can really get the blood pumping again.
Either way, I pray, Lord, that your gentle hand can come down & comfort my friend here. Touch her with your healing hands & help relieve her pain.
I cannot function on less that 12 hrs of sleep. I often sleep up to 16+. Usually no more than 12 at night, then naps during the day. Sometimes I wake up feeling as if the joints are so loose they won\'t hold me together. Popping, aching, etc. Kitty is right about getting up and moving around a bit. I can\'t go take a walk outside because of sun issues, but I can move about the house or do a few exercises on my big ball. :-) I doubt if you had slept TOO long that you would not have woken up earlier.
I find if I sleep too long I feel really bad, I get headaches and feel like I have the flu. I keep to a regular bedtime routine as much as possible and it makes me feel much better. Sleeping too much can cause depression like symptoms too, but everyone is different.
I wish sleeping too much was an issue for me. I can\'t sleep more then 4 hours at a time. If it\'s not to get up and go to the bathroom it\'s getting up to toss and turn, and taking forever to go back to sleep. On rare occasions when I sleep fot extended times is usually drug induced.
