Struggling but not down
Today is day 2 and still feel like crap from Friday. Worse is the guilt and anxiety that comes after drinking. I eat and drink like crap then worry about my health! Crazy not worth it anymore!!! I don't get why I do it.... Well shaking it off going to grocery shopping when we make the drive back for healthy food and will really try hard to stay focus on my
Goal of being a healthy person.

That\'s one of the major reasons I quit drinking. The older I get the harder it is for my body to recuperate from it. I spent more time hung over and missing out on things because I wasn\'t feeling well than anything. I do not miss that unwell feeling.
I second that. When I was young I could bounce back so fast. Now I get run down & I feel so old & a wreck. Then when I add the crap eating on top I feel fat too. I hope that you can overcome, shed the weekend & begin a new. It\'s not easy but don\'t give up. If you did better this week then you did last then take that. Just try & build on it. That\'s what I do. Even if I slip I hang on & keep up the journal or whatever. I just keep going.
Looking to buy a new bike tomorrow start doing things that make me happy and don\'t involve food and drinking! Still don\'t feel 100% since Friday age is a big fracture and not worth it! Worst is that bloated face, bags under eyes just done. So over that lifestyle and let\'s face it a 46 year old drunk female not attractive.
Good advice, Mags:))
And yes, Heart, that is another thing that I\'ve found important. Finding non-drinking activities to replace the old habits. A new bike would be a great thing to invest in. Exercise helps cut down on the anxiety and stress thus making it less likely that you will drink and overeat.
Good luck!!
