STROKE, NEW SIGN, CROOKED TONGUE, STICK OUT YOUR TONGUE
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:S - SMILE Ask the individual to SMILE.T - TALK Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently)(i.e. Chicken Soup)R - RAISE Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call emergency number immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.T - TONGUE New Sign of a Stroke -------- Stick out Your TongueNOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out his tongue.
If the tongue is'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke.A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.I have done my part. Will you?

Such great advice!
I\'ve heard that if you smell burning toast (when you are not cooking toast) that it might be a sign of a stroke.
I\'ve done my part. :-))

Oh.....ps. I can\'t stop looking in the mirror to see if my tongue is crooked. lol.
My mom had a mini stroke once, she couldn\'t speak. This might be different. Do you know what could cause a stroke? I would like to know if you have any more information :)
Good info!! Thanks for sharing!! *HUGS*
just realized i have had the burned toast thing happen. also had the floppy foot, things to the feet used to be a way to tell if one has had a stroke. also had the rolling eye thing and had to get off the road.
