Stretching myself too far
I have reached a point that I now realize that I am stretching myself much too far. I lost a wedding that was scheduled for this Sunday probably because I am too busy on here doing something someone else could have done. Water under the bridge. I made a comment in my journal sometime back that I was going to cut back and now I know I must. I am doing it though by not participating in so many support groups and with so many friends. Adding friends for me has been to see if I could help someone with an ailment from a support group that I participate in, but in most cases we never really become "friends". I do have about 10 friends here (no names) that I send and receive messages from on a regular basis so you know who you are. You I will definitely keep, and a few others that I feel might become friends of that same message status, the other I will most probably remove. I will drop most of my support groups except those most dearly to me. I have just taken on way too much, forgive me!

I don\'t blame you at all. It was very kind of you to want to help others. Please know we appreciate it. Your ministry as a pastor comes first.
dear denny, i thought that this might happen because i could see how much you were trying to do. you are not well and it has to take a toll on you. i know you want to help, but we all have our limits. don\'t want you to burn out. sending you lots of love.
Denny, I don\'t blame you either. I have so many friends on here that I befriended and never heard from again. Your doing the right thing about keeping the ones that have cooresponded with you. I need to do the same. you can only do so much - maybe just checking in once a day would be good.
I am keeping my headache friends and those that I talk to and talk to me. The rest are history. So both of you are safe, lol.
Denny,
You take care of yourself, we all tend to forget to do what we preach, tell someone to slow down and rest yet we forget to do that.
i have the same problem, and i cant check in with them all the time
take care, sandi
All the best to you Rev. Denny. Take care of yourself, and for what it\'s worth
I do think of you as a friend and have passed on many of your insights to
my other Christian friends. God Bless You, Cherrise
Ohhhh.....since you are moving to Alabama soon, I hope that you keep me. If not I really understand. Good Luck to you and maybe our paths will cross somewhere in \"Sweet Home Alabama.\"
you have to do whats right for you, Denny, I can totally understand that
I certainly understand the need to but back. I am honestly battling with the decision on whether my time here at DS has come to an end, does God have something else for me. All the drama does not help anyone\'s health issues. Now you know how to reach me and you better not forget me. After all you need at least on thorn in your flesh.,
It has to be done sometimes. There are only so many hours in a day, and only so many friends anyone can have before it starts to stretch and thin you. You have to make sure you\'re okay... You do matter too!
