Strangely at peace
I have been feeling relatively normal lately which is new for me. I have been watching my sugar intake and keeping myself busy with work so that my mind doesn't wander to dark corners. I am trying to stop focusing on the situation I find myself in and just live. I believe things will work themselves out as time goes on. I did realize a little about my roomie. I asked him about the relationships he's been in. He seems to grow tired with the women he's been with his whole life with the exception of the one he was with off and on for 16 yrs with. She beat him with golf clubs so I don't know why he stayed with her off and on for so long.
I can't seem to get any emotions out of him. I don't know whether he's happy or not. He never gives me a straight answer but tells me he loves me. I don't expect this to go anywhere so I just live my life and do the things I want to do. Time sometimes changes everything.

I have found far more peace in accepting life on life's own terms than I have found in attempts to force life to unfold on my terms.
Time ALWAYS change everything, whether I have the serenity to see and/or accept the change or knot. Over the course of time, even the mightiest of mountains move. I like the Chinese proverb, "Make friends with change. It's the only thing you can count on."
Arfie,
I wrote that proverb down...your exactly right. Change is inevitable.
