Stormy Morning
Hello all!! Today is day 20, and still going strong. We have had some really stormy weather overnight and this morning. The roads are flooded and trees and power lines down. Did manage to get to work. No major problems with the drinkin. Oh! Big update. Husband finished the bottle on Sunday, and I assumed he would stop on his way home yesterday and get a new one, but he didn't!!!!!!! He spent his first night in a long time without drinking!! THATS Amazing to me. Maybe he will stop also. It would really be good for his health since he is diabetic along with other health issues. Enough about me, how are you all doing? This site has really helped me be able to look back from the beginning and see the difference from where I was to where I am now. Well, better do some work since thats what they pay me for, so best wishes for a good day for everyone, catch ya later!!!

Very encouraging that your hubby had a night without drinking! Mine drinks nearly every day and it\'s so nice when he doesn\'t and he admits he even feels better when he doesn\'t. (Duh) Not that I stopped to help him stop (he\'s a big boy and can do it on his own), but I DO hope through my abstinence, I can show him that we can still live life to the full and have FUN without drink - that there are choices different than grabbing those beers and then being all hungover day after day.
You are doing super duper great to tackle this at this time of year when many return to it since there are a lot of stressors & depression - so HALLELUJA! for you! Woot! Keep going and thanks for writing! There is power in these groups!
