Stitches!
My husband cut his thumb this morning on a key ring, i think! It was real early and he was on his way out when he told me! HE left blood all over the bathroom too! HE called me later and let me know he had to go get stitches! HE thought it would only need one stitch but ended up with eight and what does he complain about? That it cost him $55.oo and he has insurance with his job too! LOL! I told him it's a waste of money! At least for him to add me to it! It would cost us almost $3oo.oo more! I think it's so unfair that people make money on others health needs! I told him too bad he couldn't sew it up himself! LOL! I think he would if he wasn't scared of needles! LOL! I'm not scared of needles but I dont think I could sew myself up either! LOL! I guess I'll let him slide! The thing that gets me is how sharp is that key ring! I'm the one with the thin old skin! And I have only been in the hospital to have babies! He has had food poisoning,broken toe,concusions, spider bite,dislocated shoulder, back surgery,galbladder and appendix removed and I problably could go on but that at least gives you the idea why he is covered and I refuse to be! LOL! I guess it's true , the bigger you are the harder you fall! he once cut a chunk off his other thumb but didn't go to hospital cause it stopped bleeding and now years later you can't even tell! I remember when he did it and showed me what the chunk looked like and I say "What is that? It looks like a little island with the hair sticking up in the middle! LOL! " HE was cutting carpent for a boat he use to own and somehow took a little of himself off as he went! EWWWW! was all I could think at first! LOL! Better him than me since I have to do all the house work and my kids were still little then too! The boys did think it was cool though! We decided not to show my daughter cause she tends to throw up at a drop of a hat! LOL! : )
