Still Thankful
Well, Thanksgiving may have come and gone, and now Christmas is fast approaching. ( I am struggling a bit to try to not get too far ahead of myself with so much change and uncertainty ahead of me. It can make my head spin.) I do realize that there are many things to still be thankful for-- especially the "little things".
I say this because of my two favorite munchkins--my great nephew-Jaxon who is not even 4 but is easily as tall and smart as a 6 yr old (quite the character) and his big sister-Addi who is 10 but tall thin and gorgeous with her long blonde hair (yes with a bit of pink and purple faded through) and blue eyes. She proceeded to blush after hinting of a boyfriend.(whereupon all the adults did breathe a sigh of relief when they discovered it is simply a big crush.) I did have to chuckle as one of her Poppops did ask if Elijah knows her Poppop owns several guns? lol With a hint of makeup (which was then confiscated by Mom as it was just for her to play at home--- not out anywhere) she could easily pass for a 14 year old. I am thinking her parents and grandparents may have to lock her away til she's 30--- although she already has the long flowing locks that could easily braid her way to escape. lol
I do love Christmas and have noticed the shifting of almost everyone into the joy and hopefulness that does often fill so many's hearts (at least until January when the Visa bills hit. wink, wink) Even with so much up in the air-- as I do look ahead and try to put one foot in front of the other (but not too far ahead as I know many of you will surely reign me back in... lol) I too am again looking forward to the holiday. And I hope you all do too.
Hugs, Kim

Kidding little kids are funny though.
LOl You better behave--- remember Poppop has his arsenal and is all ready to go.
Well today is another day-- not enough sleep-- stuff to do-- again no help from stbx-- and having no privacy or time to myself. Was worried about the weather but it looks like that is missing us so one less thing to concern myself with. So I would have to say--- today not quite as thankful. But still am somewhat-- He doesn't make it easy. (grumbly frown here)
