Still Sick

Well I went back to the Dr. today because I still haven't been feeling right and he said I had acute bronchitis AND a sinus infection. He put me on Levoquin and steroids. I'm not taking the steroids. I can't  tolerate them with my other meds.  I have so much congestion in my chest and head it's not even funny. The doctor told me it was a good thing I came in because I was headed for pneumonia. No wonder I've been feeling like I've been run over.  He still found humor in the fact that I have a pink streak in the side of my hair.  lol...at least he was trying to make me laugh.  My Halloween decorations that I ordered are coming in.  I am decorating inside this year but not doing outside.  Where i live in my little town, we have a small edition that is city..the rest is country.  People will bring their kids in by the truck/van/suv loads to trick-or-treat at our houses because we have city blocks. It's fun once in a while..but we are talking 200-300 kids.  Two years ago I spent almost $400.00 on candy. I can't afford that again.  We turn off our lights...but geezaloo..you can hear them outside...the air is thick with them.  Cars are lined up down my street and huge droves of kids move from house to house..hoping to find someone that's giving out candy.  It's kind of sad..BUT...my small town does have a special event for the kids every year called "Boo on the Square" where kids of all ages are invited to play games, trick-or-treat (people come and back their cars up..giving candy out), etc. I'm just happy to be in my cozy house with the lights off watching some kind of thrilling movie.  Boy did I get off track lol.  Shows how my mind wanders when i'm not feeling just right. Hope everyone has a good evening.

Sorry to hear you are sick, but glad you went to see the Dr. and he put you on meds. I hope you get well soon.
Wow! 2-3 hundred kids trick or treating? That's crazy. I wouldn't be able to afford that either and to be quite honest, I wouldn't be able to stand going to the door that much in an evening. I don't blame you for turning you lights out. Hope you find a good movie to watch that night.

My mind wonders to these days. And as fr as Halloween we don't have it here. you have to go to another neighborhood. We all have at least 1 + acres. all fenced to keep us safe witj guard dogs and such. Were all guy tolding hikes I guess ya could say but if someone makes it pastmy dogs they got another whole problem when they get to the door. Lot of dirt bikes and mostly ATV"s running all around the dirt roads that use tobe horse trails haha You have a great day my Dear :-) Jim

hi Di, wishing you continued comfort, healing, and peace :) i'm so glad, and thankful you went to see your doctor, and got more medicines. We wish you a full recovery, and praying for you, our dear friend. :) You're so strong, and i'm so thankful you're taking good care, focusing on good health, healing, and the fall season, with lots of halloween season joys :) It's gonna be so nice :) i'm so happy your new halloween decorations are arriving, and that you're enjoying decorating, and looking forward to watching movies :) our neighborhood also gets very busy, on halloween. :) We sometimes see buses of kids arriving, it's amazing how many trick or treaters there are. We're gonna give out candies until we run out of candy. i understand, the candy gets expensive. We'll make the most of the season, and have lots more great things to look forward too :)
We send our love, many healing energy prayers, and warm friendship hugs :) continue to take good care :) all our love, and best well wishes :) have a peaceful day :)
