Still scared.
I saw my PCP on Monday and she gave me a prescription for fluoxetine as well as lorazipine because I'm really depressed. I see my neurologist on Monday. I've been trying to get myself out of the house because my Dr. said to live my life. I had two trips planned: one in FL in mid March and one Williamsburg in Apr. My problem is I can't chew very well right now so I don't want to go. I check my pulseox frequently and it's generally 95 or higher so I can breathe. I'm looking forward to my neuro and hope he'll put me on prednisone since my eye is giving me some problems. I went to a play last night and I took the Mestinon as soon as I walked into the theater. My eye drove me nuts during the show (Newsies was good in case anyone sees it). I am so tense all the time I can't stand it and I feel like such a baby. I was supposed to have lunch with my cousins today but I'm not going because the thought of lunch turns my stomach. I bought Boost because I can stand that and I won't starve. Both of my cousins are breast cancer survivors and I know they've gone through something horendous also but I know my words will slur and I won't be able to each much and that will make them concerned and I hate to talk about it. I'm counting the days until Monday in the hopes the Dr. can tell me what the heck is going on. In the meantime, I think I'll take another walk even if it gives me a migraine.

One more thing, dear journal. If he can\'t tell me what the heck is going on, I\'ll put my name on another list to see another doctor. It\'s so blasted hard to get into see a specialist in MG.
I\'m sorry that you are having such a hard time. Smoothies are a great way to get nutrition. I am loving mine with spinach, a fruit (pineapple or strawberries), and a banana, with a little ice. It\'s nummy. I hope things get better for you. Don\'t give up. It is over whelming in the beginning.
FYI At the bottom of your journal entry, you can make your journals private, or share with friends. sometimes, I make mine private and vent, vent, vent!
We are here for you. Barbel
