STILL PLUGGING
Well I survived my initial follow up with my Nurse Practitioner. She was very nice and over the course of going over things I was told..My numbers are still up and the next step is on Monday I go for an ultrasound of my kidneys.
She did also mention that back in August my numbers were still ok. December they were so off.
I did not put it together at the time but I went on Ezetimibe (for cholesterol since I had issues with statins) probably July which does make me wonder. I did check out and there can be an issue with that affecting muscle mass and kidneys.
The endocrinologist cut my dosage of Metformin in half and NP said to try to cut Advil out. I told her I would try, but Tylenol does nothing and with the extra muscle weakness and pain at times it is hard. This is part of the reason I don't go out or do much right now
So while I am still concerned, I am thinking this may be caused in part by drug interactions so hoping for results. Finger crossed..

Hugs my friend. I understand that tylenol does nothing for you, It does nothing for me. I ended up with tylenol with codeine. God, I take 3 at a time and that really does the job. Do not have to take anymore for the day. You need to hound the drs and find out what is going on. I stick with one dr for general health and one dr. for cardiac and one dr. for lungs.

More tests, more bloodwork.... so tired of this. Kidney ultrasound showed nothing abnormal other than right kidney is a bit smaller than left.
