still not used to it, completely

T didn't come home last night but walked in the door @ 9:45AM.  He said it was too late to call last night to let me know he was staying at his friend's house.  He's fine. His temperament is so even.  His friend dropped him off because he had to go to work.  I know T was telling the truth that he had slept there because this friend has dropped him off before at this time.  This friend seems like a nice kid.  Of course - it fell on deaf ears when I told him he can't just not let us know.  He said that time got away from him and thought it was too late to call.  Never on a cell.  I will remind him of that.   J went off early this morning to ref soccer with his dad.  After reffing some games he's going to the art museum with his (girl)friend.  I finally asked him if they were an "item" and he said that they are just friends.  He spends a lot of time with her.  T has been dating his gf for 2 months. Wish he'd bring her around more.  It's strange.  During his using days, he destroyed the basement so he says he has nowhere to go in our house. Family room?  Guess that doesn't fly.  Maybe having her sit and watch movies here at our house will remind him too much of his house arrest days when his other girlfriend would come over?  Who knows?
