Well that sucks - I was hoping the BCP would help with your cysts and since it was one month then it wouldn\'t have such a negative affect on you. How long is your dose of progesterone for? I don\'t think you should actually start AF until you are off it. It\'s my understanding that progesterone is the hormone that stops us from cycling, thus why it\'s released during pregnancy. We also use it to control/synchronize our cattle, we put them on progesterone for a week and then we take them off it, give them a \"trigger shot\" and they come into heat in about 36 hours. But basically we use it to stop their cycle - so did your doc explain to you that you should start AF while you were on progesterone or after finishing it?? May be too soon to worry about it not working.
Well AF was due normally on the 5th i didnt get it so they put me on provera for 5 days and said AF should arrive on it or up to a week after it... I am hoping it doesnt mess up things to much... i was hoping it would start on the 5th and then I would go get my baseline and be told no more cysts.. I never expected AF not to come.. so now its just a waiting game to see when and if it comes... The bad part is I have felt like it was coming since the last row in the BCP pack but still no AF...
