Still making progress

Once again today was a good day. I got my pc back yeah me!!
I am not as tired as I was but I am still getting tired after supper. But this is nothing like what I went through the last eight yrs.
Yesterday I did the "bike" it is neat they take the legs off of my wheelchair and I drive up they strap in my feet and I am off. I did ten min's 8:15 I did at 60-80 rpm' 1 min at slow 30 rpm's and the bike 42 sec's. My legs were tired but that is normal. Was very tired when went to bed. Today was good legs a bit tired but not bad.
Had great appointment with MS doc, finally got to see him but he is the only MS doc around here so he is busy so I went to clinic. He tested my muscles as he always does and he has never seen me so good. Last time he tested me 2.5 months ago my legs were 0-1 arms were L -0-1-2 R -2-3 today when he tested me legs were 4-5 when he asked me to bring my foot up he could not pull it down, the nurse was writting it all down and he told her he could not break my foot (does that not sound bad lol) He told us that he did not even dream I would react so well to the chemo, I surpassed all of his hopes. If I can get to the point that I can walk 40 M I would be able to go on a MS drug, that may be keep me from getting worse.
My arms have never been so strong in more than a yr. I am chorchetting up a storm, I can follow the patteren plus I am doing it for about 3 hrs/day. Typing is easier, I can touch type (how great is that) each day is new and full of hope, and I need to thank the people here as they got me through some of the tuffest days. Writting things down also helps so when I have a bad day I can read it and it helps me to know that I have had good days.
Bruce went with me to my appointment at the MS clinic for the first time. It is not that he is not suportive he was so angry he got chest pain thinking about want our old family doc did or rather what he did not do. Bruce feels better about things now that I am improving, he more than anyone knows what I lost. But now we are focused on the good changes.
I am working on trying to go home, if I can get to the point of transfering on my own and making small simple meals like sandwich /soup or salad , toaste & eggs, etc. I could make it at home. The SW is going to help or find the people to help to plan menu's and basic food stuff in the house. I am so glad I put the program on hold and not stopped it all together. I was in a direct funding program from the ministry of health, they funded me to hire the girls that I needed to get my care done. I was having problems before I came in but I could not think too clearly. Now I would get help with it, and I can do more.
