Still in the saddle...

It's almost Friday for me...this business is so crazy!! But I must like it since I have been doing it for so long...maybe I am a bit scared to try something new...been thinking about going back to school to become a teacher though..wish they made better money...
Still waiting to hear if our letters have landed in the right hands...I have been doing a lot of extra praying...hoping to get some responses soon even if they are not the ones we are looking for...any response would be better than none at all right??
Work is depressing me to my core...major struggles with it right now...I remember one of my mentors telling me "Jacqueline, if you expect others to have the same work ethic that you do, you will be sorely disapponited each and everytime!." Wow, she was so right!!! There is no such thing as fair play in the casino world!
I guess I should get my butt back to work...I am enjoying watching my new craps dealers on the live games...they are all doing really well and they do make me proud...
Lot's of love to each of you...always!!!
Walking beside you always...
Jacqueline PLH
P.S. Maymay...your kids are amazing, just like you were. I went through all of the pictures of you that I have this past week and I am so wishing I had been more of a shutterbug!! You were so photogenic...thanks for all the smiles!!! They gave me strength for the moment...Love you with all my heart and then some...missing you terribly as always...XOXOXOXOX...Momma

Follow your passion and it is never too \"late\" nor are we ever too \"old\" to try new things. The teaching profession needs gifted and nurturing teachers so much. Yes, the rewards may not be monetary yet the difference that you would make is priceless! I\'m crossing fingers and toes that some responses come back from the letters and they only have to fall into one person\'s hand to get things moving along. Gentle care to you and yes, oh, how we miss our children! With love, Joanie

You have a tuff job, for sure. My best male friend, in Fl. loves to play craps. Looks to fast, for me. Hope you hear some news soon. And if you want a different career, I say, go for it. Try to make your like, more to your liking. I\'ve made a big change. It was scary at first, now it is getting better, as I am more happy, than I have been in a long time. Good luck....Gay in Ga. (Chad\'s mom).

I say GO FOR IT ! If you want to study for a different career, what is your hold back ? too old ? How old would you be in 5 years if you DON\'T do it ? YUP, still 5 years older !
Don\'t know about where you are but theachers here in the east make damn good money... $ 65,000 to start (9 months work, great vacation time and sick time too ! Plus great medical benefits and retirement benifits to beat the band... )
