Still In Pain!
I think I have mentioned before about an injury that occured at work 4 weeks ago now to my left wrist. Well it is giving me more grief than ever! I am on Tramadol and Paracetomol for the pain but it doesn't seem to be touching it at all. I have an appointment with my Rheumy on 15th Sept which is only a few days away but I am in extreme agony! We shall see how the pain goes until then I suppose. That's all for now

Breathe deeply and try to relax as much as possible. Only three days until your appointment. I\'m sure you\'ve tried this but... cold? heat? alternating cold and heat? elevation? compression is a tough one, but if you might try it briefly to see if it helps at all. Take care and rest. Best wishes.
Well I had my local anaesthetic injection on Monday morning and my wrist feels 70% better! I woke up yesterday to almost no pain at all! I am so happy. Even though there is no way of telling how long the pain relief from the injection will last for, I am just relieved to be able to have a break from the pain in my wrist
