Still here - battle worn though

I am still here and not intentionally ignoring all my wonderful friends.  I think I mentioned one time that I bought a cute little compact computer.  It's really light weight and works great - for reading and brousing, but is so tempermental when I type and keeps erasing everything I write. I tried to answer a message and wrote it 6 times.  The 7th time it dissapeared, it was all I could do to keep from throwing the dang thing.   It is so frustrating that I quit trying to write anything on in.  Apparently it is not made for someone who shakes.  So now I am at work - on my break - trying to let you all know I am alive and kicking.  I guess I will have to try to use my old computer for posting things - its just soooo sloowwww.  I think it has Parkinson's too.   lol
I am still playing the guessing game with my shoulder and neck pain.  I went off the Selegiline to see if that was causing it.  The pain did improve some - but I am also doing therapy so will have to go back on to test it again.   More and more, I am starting to think some of this issue has to do with the Parkinsons and the rigidity.  All the symptoms point to an entrapped nerve, but I am not completely responding to the treatment for that.  Massages seemed to help for awhile, but during my last one - when I was totally relaxed & loving life during the massage, my shoulder muscles pulled into a painful cramp for no reason.  The therapist could not work it out - and believe me she tried.  It took about 15 minutes to get it to release and only did when I stood up and pulled the arm straight up over my head and held it awhile.  Could this be a from of dystonia?
Anyways - please forgive me for not answering your messages, and posts, and hugs.  I promise I will - soon.
Hugs to everyone!!!

Good to hear you\'re still around and kicking Parkinsons butt with your fight. Never ever give up, just stay in touch once in awhile. Lots of hugs and prayers, Dan

Hi,

Keep the good fight up...It is nice to see you back. Computers (technology) can be frustrating. I just bought a new computer because my \"old\" one was showing signs of PD. We only need one PD entity in the family and that is me!

Take care,
Joe

Carol,
good to hear from you... those little computers are tempermental aren\'t they ...
You sound like you are pulling it all together i have faith in you... i know you\'re a strong lady... i don\'t have neck problems but started with the shoulder pain about a month ago... not sure if it\'s the same thing with you... my doc said my shoulder was starting to freeze so i started working it harder at the gym... it\'s the same side as my tremor... now i don\'t know if this is coincidence or not but since the patch has tamed down my tremors my shoulder has been feeling better ... who knows... but i\'ll take it... sometimes when it was really bad i\'d take hot baths or just put a hot damp towel on it seemed to help some... good luck sweetie and hope we get to chat sometime... oh i need some blog help ms. expert.... hugs... p
