It is already more than 2 years since Domenic started transfusions,now he needs to have 2 blood and 2 platelets weekly. He has been having very low blood counts for the last month,but we are still very confident that he will be around for a long time yet. Last week his bloods were platelets 3 and red cells 73, having said that Domenic tries to keep as busy as he can when he is able. His vegetable garden has been planted with many vegetables for the coming months,and today we spent some time doing the shopping,as you can see he has a very good attitude and refuses to let things get the better of him.
