still here

Hi Friends, I'm still alive. I have been fighting a sinus infection as many of you know plus my INR was at 5.3 on Tuesday. I have been off work since Sunday fighting this sinus infection and started on yet another antibiotic on Thursday since the one they put me on Tuesday wasn't working. Hopefully this one will do the trick. Both antibiotics are famous for raising your INR so i have to watch that even closer now. I have been taken off the coumadin for 2 days then am suppose to start back on 10 mg one day then 7.5 the next alternating for a week then re-test my INR. I basically feel like crap and have had a constant dribble nose bleed since Wednesday morning after i blew my nose. I'm not afraid I'm going to bleed to death through my nose but it sure is an inconvience. I can't go to work because it just wouldn't look good if I bleed all over my patients now would it?
