still fighting the what ever
Hello my precious friends,
I haven't written anything lately about Steve because I have been very busy taking care of him. He has been really sick for the past 2 weeks! Been to the doctor twice and have talked to the onocologist once. The local doctor here thinks he has side plurisy. He has been on another round of antibiotic and the pain has been very bad and constant. He has been living on Vycodin! The last scan showed a white area on his lung. Is this coming from the radiation in the spring? The onocologist thinks pneumonia. He no longer can take the contrast with the scans because his creatine is too high. 2.7 or in that range. Dr. Amin will not give it above a 2. So what is under that white area? I try not to go there. He has nausea from the antibiotic and really feels like crap. I haven't seen him this sick in a long time. He compares the pain to his surgeries! He is in the bed now.
He has an appointment tomorrow with a specialist. I can't spell it, a breathing doctor! LOL I can say it I just can't spell it. Every time I put spell check on this site it messes everything up! Oh well, you know what I mean!
What happens to one as they get older they (myself) can't spell worth a flip? gone with the wind I guess, just like a lot of things I used to could do.
Thru all this, I remember you all as the Christmas season draws nearer. I pray for those who lost their soulmates this year. I pray for those who are holding on for dear life, and I pray for my dear Steve!
Merry Christmas to all,
Wanda

Wanda, my prayers are with you and Steve. I hope that when you see the Pulmonologist he has good news and that the pneumonia is already on the way to resolving. I won\'t sanction any other thoughts. I wish the two of you a blessed Christmas. That as usual you think of all of us shows what a gracious lady you are. God bless you .....Jane
Dear sweet Wanda, I\'ll be praying that Steve feels better very soon and that the pneumonia is healing.
Love & hugs,
Lois
Dear Wanda, I hope Steve starts to feel better very soon. I know how concerned you must be. The spot on the lung can be a lot of things...even scar tissue from an old tumor. I hope the specialist sorts things out. I will keep Steve and you in my prayers. Peace to you my friend. Love, Linda
So very sorry to hear that Steve is still feeling so awful. What a time he and you have had. I, too, pray that the pulmonary specialist will be able to sort this out and quickly. While you continue to care for your precious hubby...don\'t forget to take care of YOU! You both will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I love you, Ingrid
Oh my dear Wanda, so many prayers for you and Steve, so sorry that Steve is feeling so bad... prayers my friend, and virtual hugs from Texas, Annette
Wanda, thinking of you and Steve during the Christmas season, praying that he begins to feel a bit better. Take care!

Dear Wanda, so sorry to hear Steve has been so poorly. When someone you love is in pain you want so much to take it from them. Thank goodness he has you. Your warmth seems to come through the way you write. Special prayers to you both, Nita xxx
Dearest Wanda - praying for Steve and for you. It takes over everything, I know. but you know that your guy is a toughie. Hoping very much that things are getting better. I don\'t think you\'ve been getting alerts about my journals, but I know you\'lI be so pleased to know that D is back home!
Lots of healing energy coming your way over the Atlantic, and I hope that Steve recovers enough for you to start enjoying the Christmas season
all my love, Meriel
Dear Wanda,
I am sorry to hear that Steve is on the down low right now in time for Christmas! But I just know that under your wonderful loving care he will be on the mend in no time. The pulmonologist will be sure to know what path to take and he won\'t care if you can\'t spell his specialty as long as the insurance company spells his name right on the payment. lol?
Love to you both,
gloria
