Still feeling a little out of it
Weight today was 159.8 lbs. Not too bad. Trying to exercise every day, get in my 10k steps, eat healthy. This week I have really been pushing myself but overall doing well. I over did it last night at my bowling party but considering how well I have been doing all week, I'm good with it. Did Zumba yesterday for 30 minutes and the day before. Today, had to really push myself but got lots of cleaning done, finished decorating my two trees (almost). Got laundry done. Tomorrow finish cleaning and get my presents wrapped.
2 weeks on the Lexapro and I am SO fatigued. Got very little of anything done this past week at work or home. Most times I can deal with it but sometimes it just takes over and kind of makes me woozy. I had a really bad panic attack last night at bowling. did not want to take Xanax as I was overly tired and had to drive home. Got home and it had passed for the most part. Comes in waves. TOM is due this week. I am sure it is all related to hormones. Took a Xanax when I got home last night and within 15 minutes starting feeling better. OMG, the depression, PMS, weepiness this past week has been rough. I am taking Lunesta at night. Slept really well last night and I am sure that is why I felt better today and a little less foggy brained and got a lot done. Plus, I just never let myself sit down.
6 factors for me to think about:
1) hormones have been whacky for the last month
2) the horrible stress 3 weeks ago with Buddy
3) Vitamin D deficiency
4) Daylight Savings in November
5) short days/darkness
6) cold weather (I hate the cold)
All of these things really hit me over the last 1 1/2 months and I think my body is rebelling big time! (and my brain!)
So my focus is on relaxing, eating right, getting sleep/taking Lunesta for now, taking my Vitamin D supplements every day (so far 2 days in a row), exercise every day. I am going to try to come here and track myself a little better too. Buddy is gone (and doing well in his new home.) The days are now getting longer. I may also use Paul's light box sometimes. that may help my mood. I think the big thing also is not to sweat over it. Been through this before. hate the anxiety but I am trying to deal with it and understand it better and survived it before. So when those feelings come over me (in waves) I just have ride it out. Just praying I can get past the fatigue and brain fog! that anxiety attack last night was really scary. Took everything I had not to leave in the middle of bowling. Lasted over an hour!

Glad you were able to give Buddy to his \"forever\" home. You were wonderful to care for him. As far as depression due to the short, dark days, I notice a big difference once February arrives. I know that\'s a ways off. You are right that the days will lengthen starting now. Hang in there!
It seems like Christmas is coming together! Enjoy the holiday!
It must be hard to do the exercise when feeling so much fatigue from the meds. I applaud your effort to get it accomplished.
I heard on the news that the medical field is now thinking hot flashes are caused by upsets in the brain during menopause. It follows that the panic attacks, depression, PMS, and weepiness might be from the same.
Hugs!
You are doing great with the exercise. I don\'t how you do it!.
Been there you are handling this much better than i think i did.
Do you still have that Open Focus stuff you purchased?
Keep it up. You are doing great. Hormones, PMS and TOM that all stinks. I agree.
