Still busy but hanging in there

Big apartment fire last night in Philadelphia.  Was told this AM to be prepared to pack  up and go up there at a moments notice.  Turns out we only had two people in the building insured with us.  I hear most of them were not insured at all.  SAD!  For like $125 to $150 per year, these people could have had $10,000 to $20,000 worth of coverage!  Anyway, I settled the first one over the phone and can't reach the second one so far.  Will try to settle that one over the phone tomorrow I guess if she calls me back.  So I have a feeling I will be really busy this week!  It will be this way really until the end of January, at least.  I will be on the road a lot I guess.  And this cold wet dreary weather is not helping me.   Have to start putting out the Christmas decorations this weekend.  My next door neighbor has their tree up and outdoor lights out already! I have been feeling like such a loser lately and not in a good way.  I feel tired and blah and I have been eating junk and eating for all the wrong reasons.  I am eating out of boredom and stress and anger and depression.  Not a good thing.  And I think "What the hell?"  And do it anyway.  Then the guilt hits.  I have got to get back in my routine.  I have to get up tomorrow early and get to the Y.  Ever since that cramp episode a few weeks ago, which scared the daylights out of me, I have not gone.  JM- the papaya enzyme has been working BTW.  I ate some leftover mac and cheese for lunch today and felt yucky.  Took one of those and felt better!  Have to start tracking everything again, religiously, like I was doing on Fitday.  Just cannot seem to find the motivation. My sister has lost 120 lbs now and is a size 10.  Never in my life has my sister ever been a size smaller than me.  Now that really depresses me. I know I have to do this for me.  I have to just get back on track.  Gained another lb.  Could be much much worse.  Oh well.  Wish me luck.  This is just such a rough time for me.

I remember when you were on the road before you planned on what foods to eat... you need to get back to that! You know that stuffing your face is not going to improve your mood. Doing something posiitve is the answer!
I am glad the papaya is working...I had enchiladas last week (cheese) and they helped me too!
I know you are glad for your sister and her size 10s but I can also understand how it makes you feel depressed. And again - you need to do something positive!
Have a great Holiday!

You are not your sister. Do not even go there! It doesn\'t matter what her size is. Your overall health is what matters for you. Not a comparison. Please, as hard as it is, no comparing yourself.
That is very sad about the uninsured people. Very sad. How heartbreaking to feel like you are starting over in life. It\'s a good reminder to us that we might feel we are starting over in our weight loss journeys to health, but we still have a roof over our heads and our tangible memories and our loved ones.
I am going to start some fibre pills this week to add to my feeling full so that I stop the mindless eating too. I hear you on that struggle. Even the \"HALT\" posted on my fridge doesn\'t help me. I get all crabby that I am the only one having to \"deprive\" myself. I guess I need to reframe my thinking in that it is not deprivation to eat healthy, but rather that it is deprivation of healthy to my body to eat crap, right?
I dunno!! I just DO know that I am with you on this difficult journey! Let\'s hang in there together.

Don\'t worry where your sister is at.. that is only adding more stress... keep in mind what you want to do and go for it..... i know it\'s hard.. but you can do it.... one foot in front of the other.. and you\'ll get there...
