Still alive, still writing
I am trying to finish chapter 7 (out of 10) on my book about CORS today. I hope that I will be able to resume participation in DS by next year.
It's been a roller coaster year, I am working for my 5th client so far. I have been almost constantly in job search mode, talking to 10 or more recruiters per day, even while working when I knew a project was ending and I had to find something new.
My health (physically and mentally) is good, the kitties & dog are doing fine. My avocado tree started from a pit is nearly 3 feet tall. I have been going to a lot of concerts, and posting videos of them on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_m2f2hDzQS706UTLpGSibPpxDMHP9A0F - now with pressure to just finish the book, I have curtailed going to shows too.
I'm having a BIG party when the book is finished!

Good for you writing a book.... There is so much that I don\'t know about computers that it could most definitely fill a book!!
