I dropped Prednisone to 2.5 mg/day. I am hoping that my pain will not come back in a fury. So far I ahev been duing ok on Enbrel, just a little inflammationafter I inject. I use the gel from my Aloe plant to help with the itching. My white blood cells are up a little and so is my Neutrophil. My Rheumy is suppose to call me this week and go over the results. I am not really worried, b/c I don't feel bad. No pain in hand and wrist. Sed rate is down too.

Glad that the Enbrel is working. That was a nice gift in time for Christmas. You might want to add Naproxen, if you have trouble. It is not perfect, but less dangerous than prednisone. That helps me over the rough periods, which fortunately is not too often these days!
Thanks Angela. I do take Aleve as well. I am tapering off the Pred slowly this time b/c I do not want the pain to return too fast.
I do hope you get to feeling better soon too.
