still 10 days smoke-free
I don't know why but I had a hard time this afternoon.. Tried to take care of myself got my nails done, had a healthy lunch.... just felt really antzy. I wanted to work this weekend since I haven't worked in over 2 weeks, thank goodness I am on vacation and i do not have a trip on my schedule. I do need the money if I am well enough to work. But I think what I am experiencing is withdraw from the cigs... I have never quit like this before.. not even on Chantix, I still smoked. This is the longest I have ever gone. I guess I was really motivated to quit since my ashma was getting worse, my cough, trouble clearing my throat. Boy, my body is totally detoxing... Its rather bazarre! Well I felt better tonight since I went to an AA meeting and went back to the gym for 40 minutes with my friend.
Making a decision to work under these conditions is hard, since I hate to be coughing and trying to catch my breath at 30,000 ft ! Its hard enough on the ground!!!

The main reason I quit is I wanted to be able to breath! I had developed a cough and was always clearing my throat. All that went away once I quit. You can do it. I took Welbutrin for about a month to help me with withdrawals and it seemed to help. The nicotine lozenges helped me a lot too. The slow disolving kind takes a while and it is kind of like a mental smoke break with the nicotine accruing gradually.
You sound like me I quit smoking because I couldn\'t breath anymore! Your symptoms sound familiar. I feel like I\'m going to die!! I feel like I have a very bad flu, when will this get better. It is hell to get through!
My sister also went on Wellbutrin to quit. She has been 20 years now. So it must have worked? I hope you feel better soon. And your body probably has a lot of detoxing to do. So don\'t give up. I am praying for you.
Download the Neuroprogrammer-2 and put in your earbuds or headphones...this is a wonderful tool to help curb anxiety. I like the \"hypnotic-relax\" algorhytm.
