Stickin\' to it!

OK.  Stickin' to it at this point.  Still resisting the donuts that are rotting in the cabinet!  Paul took a couple of yummy croissants out of the freezer, and nope!  Didn't eat one of those either.  Getting in some water.  Yesterday was 56 oz.  My current goal is 48 oz, so that is good.  Haven't been to the Y since Saturday, so I will have to go tomorrow AM for sure.  Steps for this week so far just ok.  9832 for Sunday, and 8263 for yesterday.  So I have a few to make up.  Eating for the last few days is great!  More fruits and veggies, smaller portions, etc.  I did eat 2 Hershey kisses last night but am not counting that as a binge!  I found some yummy lemon sorbet (Lemon Citron) at Trader Joe's.  No fat, 80 calories and only 2 WW points!  Yum!  Had one of those last night for dessert!  I did my Gazelle for 45 minutes on Sunday and took the dog for a 37 minute walk yesterday.  Keeping track of everything in my notebook journal.   I have been feeling pretty good, although I have been feeling fat and flabby for the last few days.  I want to do my Bender Ball more often to take care of my abs/stomach.  The "rolls" are just bugging me extra bad the last few days?  I wore a body shaper today and feel so much better.   Paul has been painting the sunroom.  18 ft ceilings.  He has been up on scaffolding.  I will be so glad when it is all over so I can clean up, repot some plants, reorganize and get my haven back!  I also want to buy a nice water fountain so I can sit in there and escape!  I am painting the walls yellow.  Should help me feel sunny all year long. We are also painting my bathroom.  I will also be glad to get that done as everything is all over the place and it is a pain lugging my clothes and stuff to the other bathroom to shower.  That is going to be a pretty cream/peach color.  Paul's friend should be coming over soon to work on the basement some more today.  So that is good too.  All in all, Paul has been pretty good lately.  I don't know if it is the new medication, change in weather or whatever, but I will take it! David is ok.  Still catching him in lies sometimes.  Very frustrating.  He took his Zune out of my room last night and was listening to it in bed last night apparently.  I had a $91 charge on my cell phone bill this month for web surfing and some kind of download of a ringer!!!  I know it was him!  I have no clue how to do that stuff on my phone.  Paul called the phone company and had them remove it and block web usage and text usage on our cells.  David denies doing this.  Yeah, right.  Well, I guess it will be things to talk about in counselling tomorrow.  He is now 12 and he is changing (puberty.)  David lost the door to his room almost 5 years ago, after we moved in.  (Due to slamming it all the time, breaking the frame, or locking the door.)  I want to be able to put the door back on for him for privacy, but I am obviously finding it hard to trust him.   Oh well.  At least it is sunny today and thank God has warmed up!  Will have to go out for a walk soon with the dog.  My little girl, Kona, just remains an absolute joy in my life.  Work remains chaotic.  Some days are hard to get up in the morning and face my office.  I am just struggling through this and feel very unproductive.  Hoping the new found energy level will help with this.

How about a curtain for David\'s door? If he\'s good with a curtain, then he can upgrade to a door!

Great job on your food and staying accountable with journal writing. I hope you get to the Y tomorrow and shake your booty there. I\'ve got some rolls to get rid of too!!

Your sunroom sounds heavenly!

And after the sheet/curtian make him earn the door!

Kudos on not eating the donuts or croissants! Is Paul a skinny butt? Bringing all those yummies home!

Paul is not skinny. He could lose a few pounds but I would not call him heavy. But he eats more than anyone I know! And anything he wants! He eats pounds of beef at a time!

Glad your feeling good about your food choices and telling yourself NO and sticking with it. It\'s tough but your doing it. Keeping busy for sure it sounds like - good work! Glad Paul is getting some painting done, that\'s what I\'m gonna do here soon. Everything is white in our house, I\'m ready for color. Makes us feel better when projects are being done! I\'m happier at home now with landscaping being done, and now the garden on the way and then some fresh paint! Hope the counseling goes well for David, that\'s gotta be tough. Wish I could help. My Jim loves food too and especially beer, he has about 15-20 lbs to lose but when he\'s ready he\'s ready. Don\'t give up!
