Staying on course

Well, I didn't do too bad with food this past weekend at the beach.  I ate ok.  I did have 1 small ice cream cone.  But my walking was good.  My 2 travel days, Friday and Monday, I only got about 5500 steps in each those two days.  Saturday, I got in over 21,000 and Sunday, I got in over 28,000!!!  Woo Hoo!  That was 10.61 miles, my all time personal best by a long shot!  I weighed myself today.  Down to 151.
Exercise today:  8 mins of Wii Fit Plus, 18.5 mins of Wii Golds Gym Dance Workout (124.5 calories burned!), 33 minutes walk the dog.  I am over my 10,000 steps today (just.)
Beach was good.  Only problem caused by Hurricane Earl was the waves were huge, so you could not go above your waist in the ocean.  My friend got knocked down by a huge wave and got a huge shiner on her cheek.  Cape May was beautiful.  Our room overlooked the ocean.  Had dinner at my mom's yesterday when we picked up Kona.  Boy, was she ever happy to see us!  And of course, mommy missed her terribly!
Work is a bitch.  6 fires in 1 1/2 weeks.  I am whooped.  On the road tomorrow and Thursday so far.  Praying for a break.  An employee in auto department (woman) drove last week to the Delaware memorial Bridge, pulled over and jumped off and committed suicide!  Her husband works for my insurance company too.  It's getting scary.
In the meantime, I switched from Lexapro to Cymbalta.  I am no better.  Still fatigued out the whazoo.  Tired of being tired.  Thinking of going off all this crap entirely.  Just going to take Xanax if I have to drive.  It has been months since I felt like myself.

I\'ve been off Trazodone for 10 days now and still getting the side effects from it, so give the Lexapro a chance to remove itself from your system totally. Cymbalta I think still carries a warning it may make you drowsy, so it\'s still got some sedative type effect, so if the Lexapro is still in your system as well it won\'t be helping. Give it another week or two before you decide to make sure the Lexapro is well and truly out of your system.

Your Cape May weekend sounded like tons of fun! I bet Kona is still following you around the house just so you don\'t leave her again.
I hope you get a break at work soon. A while back you mentioned changing jobs, are you still thinking along those lines?
Absolutely phenomenal steps!

Great job on all those steps.
Sorry to hear about your coworkers wife.
How\'s David doing with school?
Take one case at a time. Give the meds a chance to work.
Do you go back to the doctor for a re check?
Have a good week. Hope no more fires added to your plate.
Hugs.

WOW! Those are some mileage you\'re puttin\' on them feets!
Cape May is delightful this time of year...we used to go every summer for the Labor Day weekend. Where were you staying?
Glad Earl didn\'t do a lot of damage...best the surfers were in heaven!

OMG!!!! I did not hear about the suicide! How tragic! That is scary...and to have a connection with the husband working for your company...that hits home. I\'m so sorry to hear about that!
My husband went off meds, one was lexapro, because he did not feel like himself. He started with St. John\'s Wort for mood and Melatonin for sleep and it seems to be working. I take Xanax every once in a blue moon for anxiety...talk to your Doctor before just stopping any meds!
Love ya!

Sorry to hear about the tragedy of the woman! These times are hard and it\'s hitting allot of people! We just had a young man here, commit suicide because his ex GF kept telling him he was a loser, due to not being able to get work! They had a 3 yr old child too!...very, very sad! :(
Glad to hear your vacation was fun! Those are things we all need to do as often as we can...we need to rejuvenate in these critical times ya know...
