Staying in touch
Geeeezzz, I thought I would feel Breyer and keep up with all of you Dear Friends, but I did push myself to my son's to be with grandsons for nine days and I am sure that didn't help. Lol. My son was more understanding and would encourage me to nap often. I think he could see I was exhausted by my body language. I did radiate joy around my grandsons. They are the best medicine for the soul.
I have been back over a week and still not unpacked. Well I took out a few things but need to put clothes and others away. I just can't believe how absolutely weak I am now and I know the radiation treatments set me back BIG TIME! The oncologist insists its the CFS... DUH
Everything I read from the ACS about radiation informs the patient the worst side effect is weakness and tiredness that can last up to and over a year. I think the radiation oncologist just doesn't want to acknowledge his treatments have side effects. I use to have good days before this cancer issue, and I haven't had a good day since addressing it.
Sorry for whining. I am just so weak and tired and it does take me down although I get back up every time and try to stay positive.
I lost a close cousin last month to terminal cancer. She was only 61. I don't remember if I journaled this. I know she is finally out of severe pain which helps me to accept she is actually gone.
I desire so much to be supportive here and get to know you all better, but it's difficult for me to read and get on line. I pray for more energy for myself and all here. Sometimes I am afraid due to the cancer but then I realize life is life and this is part of it. I have strong faith and keep on keeping on as positive as possible. I know I have been amiss of my regular daily meditation and will get with it, because it changes everything to much better coping and feeling closer to God.
I wish all a MERRY BLESSED CHRISTMAS or HOLIDAYS
I hope to be back before then though. God BLESS US ALL with a NEW YEAR full of LOVE & LIGHT

Hello, dear. I am so glad you could be with your grandkids. What a joy! I\'m also glad your son was more understanding. It totally makes sense that you would be exhausted. I find conversation wears me out even if I wasn\'t pushing physically. It\'s hard to tell sometimes what is CFS and what is from something else. I often say that if I got another illness, I would never know because I always feel like crap. How would I notice a change? But, yes, I have heard that radiation does cause a lot of weakness. So, I tend to agree with you that your doc just doesn\'t want to admit it. Hold tight. Much love. Heather.
I just know HOW healing the love of g/children is! I have three! Sure do need them now that my hubby is gone!! Faith is the key. Hang on.
I\'m sure that the treatments have everything to do with your exhaustion. They put all kinds of chemicals into our already compromised bodies, and we just take forever to even out again!
I\'m glad you were able to muster up the strength to write a journal!!
Gentle, healing hugs to you, my friend! xo
Hello DS - DS MEANS DEAR SOULS for me, for that\'s what you all are.
Thanks so much for comment Heather, Darla, and Di
I have been depressed and really living in my bed most often. However I did start meditating again and I feel a spark of light within ..YAY!!! I am trying to find someone to help me with my room, for it\'s out of control now! Bills, papers, clothes everywhere. I keep my bed clean and we all know how changing sheets can do you in. Lol. I say a prayer and just do it! Then sit to catch my breath. I ordered everything I need from Amazon for coffee enemas to detox the liver first. Then I am going on a juice fast and detoxing my gut. I read the best water to drink is pure with 1/2 teaspoon of pink Himalayan pink salt for the mineral content. I\'ll start all in the New Year. This is for cancer not to metastasis, but I think perhaps it might help with fatigue, I pray. I will try my best to walk and do some light weights for my wasting bone mass. I refuse to take any of the drugs for osteoporosis due to the horrible side effects. I am sleeping at least 12 to 15 hours a day and then it takes a few hours for me to actually come to. I am sticking to a plant based diet, but not a total vegan yet. I make green cruciferous veggie smoothies. I\'ll have to muster up the energy to make juices for fasting. I\'ll use carrots, celery, green apple, cucumber, and I have to read more about the use of cayenne pepper and ginger. Coconut water is best for smoothies. I already take Tumeric, and of course calcium and vit D, as well as a few others for side effects of the hormone blocker I must take for five years.
Yes Heather, it\'s so difficult to know when we may be dealing with something else because we feel so horrible most often. How would we know? I found the lump in my breast myself and that\'s how that came into play. If I didn\'t check I wouldn\'t know because I don\'t do mammograms or X-rays unless absolutely necessary.
I wish I could see you all and give you Big Gentle Hugs with much Love, then sit and have some tea and tasty tidbits and talk with each other until we drop!
Would be wonderful to meet each other and be able to chat. I think we all would laugh and cry with much joy.
God Bless You and yours
Much LOVE & LIGHT
Debra
