Staying away from stress..
I've been wanting to work on my stress levels for a while now. Since I'm back on Lexapro, now is as good of a time then any...I'm sure most of you have never heard of Hidradenitis. Well, I have it. It causes boils that occur mainly by stress. I'm on my 4th batch of them in the last year and a half. Mine occur in my arm pit. First it was just my left one, now it's my right one too. They start out as boils under the skin then eventually pop and become "holes." This last one became infected with cellulitis and I had to go to the ER for anti-biotics. They take months to clear up. It's very painful and embarrassing especially cause I love wearing tank tops. And now that the weather is nice and warm...I have to keep my arm all bandaged up with gauze and tape. NOT FUN. So, I have decided to work on my stress. I always have a ton of things goin on in my life that cause stress. Now I'm going to shy away from as much of those things that I can. I've come to realize that I have friends who tend to live for drama. I'm pushing them out of my life for right now. They always come to me for everything wrong in their lives, but when I turn to them they don't have time for me. I'm tired of being "used." I don't need people like that in my life who are only around for drama. Nope, I have enough of it on my own. Time to work on me and not them. (I'm not talking about anyone from here at DS)So, hopefully in a month or so I'll be totally Zen...LOL Wish me luck!Jessica
