"stay" by Rihanna and mikky ekko//dinner at k's//dinner with j//boat rescue motor//cat ear infection
"This is your aid to getting 'Stay' lyrics, chords and piano sheet music for Rihanna and Mikky Ekko's latest chart hit.
Sheet music for all other Rihanna's other great songs are also available. 'Stay' sung by Rihanna and Mikky Ekko is a slow beautiful ballad.
'Stay' is sung as a duet with very minimal accompaniment i.e. no drums or band backing. Yet the song stays interesting throughout because of the intense emotional singing from both singers. A nice effect in the simple piano accompaniment is the minor chord changes on the unexpected 4th beat of the bar - | C C C Dm | Am |"
totally love this song.
really need to journal daily again. instead of this what do i remember of this week. went to k's for dinner. my idea for the main course instead of his. its generally his plan (which i think he prefers). we made kedgeree, which is a popular breakfast in british sections of india. 3 hard cooked eggs, 6 tbl of half and half, 3 tbls of butter 3 tsp of curry and 3 cups of rice with smoked fish. then you toss it together and bake for 30 minutes at 350. (hint, wash off the smoked fish because its salty). we had smoked herring with it and then smoked herring with sourcream. its good, but i think my heart didn't like it, probably the salt. can see why they make it for breakfast. its easy.
k made jello instant lemon merengue pie which i recommend. also good. he's very preoccupied all the time right now because of the biopsy on his back.
had dinner with j as well. lobster ravioli is on sale (bertolli frozen) i highly recommend it. then we hit the marina. there was a couple stranded in their boat, the motor wouldn't go. first time out this season. then two hours later, it kicked over for some reason. they have a triple a thing for boats called SEA TOW. so called for them. amazing they didn't bring cell phone. and then i realized, there was a time ten years ago when many people didn't have cell phones. lol. they said they have cells, just forgot.
my shoulders are sore all the time, so my office smells like menthol linament. lol. boy, am i old. i discovered the reason menthol gives a person's head a rush is menthol is an analgesic.
talked to helene, who is now retiring. omg! she will be working once per week for a doctor in orlando and is leaving geriatrics here. her son is expecting his first child with his new wife (i think its five years married by now. helene has custody of his teenage son). they have a bengal cat that they got from our rescue a few years ago and they walk it on a leash to go to the bathroom outside. i used to do something similar with the crippled cats, i only found a litter pan that is the size of a sandbox this year that they probably wouldn't knock over. it looks weighted. too bad i discovered this now.
br called to tell me his stepson decided to return to st. louis after one week, not two, so still feeding his cats for him. its nice down there though, he's literally ONE BLOCK from the ocean. also the torti that had an ear infection is now on ear drops, after 20 days on amoxicillin, once per day. its excellent with the ear drops. big surprise, i thought it would fight me. the human ones are $43 and the animal ones are $35 (same product) makes no sense. all i wanted to buy was otomax or animax which is only about $15. couldn't find a vet that keeps it on stock, NOR a catalog that i could just order it without a prescription.
fed s's colony and the other woman and her son, that feed (its still just two animals) doesn't think s is feeding them anymore. called s to see if its true, and waiting for a call back (she has medical issues right now, but i know she is around).
back on track looking for summer overnight camps for a. i do this LATE every single year, this will be year 4 for her and glad she goes. it always ends up the same camp for many reasons, she doesn't know i do a search each year. so many of these places are super-pricey, or don't have enough of a curriculum. really opened my eyes to the camps i went to as a kid. never new it was such a big deal finding them. it is though.
