Started to take my life back

Today I went to fire training and felt so wonderful. The sun was shining and I even drove our new fire truck in the snow. It's way cool. Its a military surplus Fire Truck that was used at an air force base so has water nossels everywhere and carrys 3 times as much water and equipment as our other trucks. I also signed up for a couple of classes at fire academy. One class is for Arson investigation and the other is a refresher course for wildland firefighting. I did mention to my fellow firefighters that I was on Coumadin and if I got hit by a tree while fighting a wildland fire I needed to be sent to the hospital right away. It was immeadiatly pointed out to me that if I was hit by a tree while fighting a fire I'd probably be dead anyway so why worry if I bleed. Dang they are such smart arses, but a great bunch of people none the less. Tomorrow I will be attending my weekly Dog training for about 4 hours, I'm getting excited about that too. Its been awhile since I have been home to train with my team.  Did I mention to you all I was staying with my daughter for a couple of months due to a complication in her last pregnancy. She had my 2nd Grandson on December 29th so after helping out for a month and training with a different Sheriff's Department its good to be on home ground once again. Besides Maks was getting way to used to sniffing out drugs instead of cadaver and live searches.  The only Dog they have in the adjoining county are drug dogs so while inRome!  I have been feeling good and am just patiently waiting to get my results back from my cat scan on Friday. I'll keep everyone posted.
