Started Red Light Therapy
Last night was my first session of red light therapy at Level 3 (highest setting) for 5 minutes, full face. A good amount of rosacea folks seem to report that it works well for them, with average results manifesting in 2-3 weeks and some improvements noticeable after each session. Red light therapy is often used as part of a broader long term management regimen for folks who respond well to it. And, it would appear that I respond well!!! WOOT!!!
I woke with no morning pinkness, no rough texture, no itchiness, no dryness, nothing. In fact, my skin has not been this smooth in well over a year... before my first severe flare up that drove me back to a specialist's office a year ago. I'm really stunned it worked this well right out of the gate, but I'm also very, very grateful!
I'll be doing this each night after I do my pure honey wash and aloe vera gel, but before I put on my prescription Metrogel 1%. Hopefully with all those things working together, along with my autoimmune protocol nutrition plan and lifestyle adjustments and trigger avoidances, I can get my rosacea balanced. I know this is a life-long road, and I'm going to have to commit to all of this for the foreseeable future, if I want to experience my best health... worth it!

Thanks so much! I'm really surprised. I hope it continues to go well. I'm hopeful but cautious given all I've been through in the past year...
