Start over again tomorrow

Well, gotta start over.  Bingeing, no exercise, meltdowns with David, mentally shutting down myself.  Too burnt to even come here.  Got like 10 inches of snow today.  Just got done several hours of shovelling with husband.  Very bad emotional eating this last couple of weeks.  Just having a hard time facing anything, accomplishing anything.  Can depression be temporary?  Maybe I am just going through a mini meltdown or minor depression.  I kind of went through something like this years ago (although it was much worse.  For several months I was almost non functional.)  A little scary but I know I have to whip myself back into shape.  STILL praying for Spring.  Daylight savings is this weekend coming up, so more sunshine and longer days ahead.  I am sure that will help. By butt is just dragging.  Work, home, etc.  Had taken most of Christmas decorations down and put away, including ornaments on tree.  Still had the 2 trees to take down!  Finally got one down this past weekend.  The other should be a breeze and I hope to get it down this week.  It comes apart in three pieces.  I need to schedule a vacation.  I think having something to look forward to will help as well.   Other than that, struggling day to day.  Even David has had a few meltdowns.  He got in a fight in school.  First one this year.  Got an in school 1 day suspension.  If that little boy could only apply himself and believe in himself regarding schoolwork and his grades.  Wow! Anyway, will try to get back into things and catch up with everyone!

You have to take care of yourself. Have you considered seeing your DR? That might be just the ticket. Hope things get better for all at your place. HUGS!

I am afraid to go to the Dr. Don\'t want him to prescribe meds. I really need to pull myself out of the blahs. Believe it or not, exercise and eating right helped. So I have to refocus.

Having suffered major depression and some bipolar episodes resulting in two suicide attempts, I realized it is not all a matter of willpower, character, etc. I needed God and family and I also needed to find the RIGHT MEDS. Been made a guinea pig on many of them, but found that Cymbalta worked the best to give me an interest in living again. Also makes dieting easier instead of harder as most drugs do! DS has really helped too. I\'m on almost every day.

I agree about seeing the doctor. And I also agree that exercise releases endorphins and makes you feel better too. And you first, for a while. Put yourself on the priority list. Love you! Take care of you! Vent here if you need to!

Depression can be circumstantial too!!! :/ What you have going on right now CAN and WILL effect you..if not anyone!!! It\'s ok if you need to meltdown and regroup! Well.....I do it as often as i need to....and it usually works out ok! Like I had that happen just the last couple of days...Am feeling stronger today! It happens!!!
I would say unless you are feeling like it just won\'t go away, then I would not go for the meds....but it\'s up to you! Maybe a little couseling might help first B4 you go to that degree...I think too many Dr\'s just try to make the issues \"go away\" by prescribing meds! My opinion tho! :/
But, if you are at the edge of things and it\'s bad...then maybe just long enough to get you where you need to be... No harm in that for sure! Please be careful and research whatever they want to prescribe for you too....there are a lot of ones that are not so helpful...in fact can do harm! :(
Hang in there hon!!!!
