spring storms
The south has really been hammered this spring with violent storms! We had another really bad one on Tuesday night. We have a lot of hail this year also. Our friends were hit this last time. They had about 10 trees down around their home with one in the pool, across the driveway and one on the arbor. The good news is they are safe!
This is not the case of a family about 25 miles from here. Twin 18 year old girls were killed when a tree fell across their mobile home. They were home with an older brother and became frightened and went into his room. The tree cut the mobile home in half. The brother was not hurt! Had they stayed in their room they would have lived! It was completely un-harmed. What a cruel twist of fate! The news showed them in their prom dresses and they were beautiful.
Why do these things happen? God only knows, if you let the events of the world get to you it is unbearable! Is is so hard not to question, I guess you just have to trust God, no, You MUST trust God. I surely don't have any answers. Please pray for this family, I know their hearts are breaking.

As you know my nephews live in NC and my younger nephew called on Easter to say hello to every one and he was telling me about how bad it has been there. The tornado that went through his town kill four children in one family..parents had put them in the bath tub which is one of the safest places. I can\'t even imagine the pain this family is going through as well. I will never understand the bigger picture...to me there isn\'t any need for anyone to have to suffer this type of tragedy..I trust more in love and family than tust in something that is not tangible but then that is just me....hope all is well for you and Steve is holding his own..hugs, Ellen

I saw that report about those beautiful young girls too. SO TRAGIC AND SAD!!!! Glad to know that you and Steve are safe. We\'ve had some terrible storms here in SC too. I never remember a Spring like this one. Unbelievable!!! All the flooding in Mississippi is horrible too. I feel so for all involved.
We\'re driving to Columbia soon, and will have lunch at Olive Garden. That\'s one of my favorite places, and we haven\'t been there in years. Should be a nice birthday treat!

Hi Wanda, I have wondered about you and Steve each time I hear the news of more tornados. Glad to know that your home is okay, but, obviously, saddened for all of the people suffering from this year\'s weather related tragedies. Wanda have been concerned about you guys when i hear about the storms. I am glad that you are ok, and of course I will pray for the family. I know God has a plan, but I swear I don\'t understand it,.......YET ! I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers and hope that the weather Gods get tired of all this mess, and give it a rest.
