spring

Got out today for my first motorcycle ride of the season. I was wonderful, we didn't go too far, so no pain! the weather has been great. today was perfect for the bike not too hot or sunny just nice. It did get a little cool when we got close to the lake but that was only for a bit. we are supposed to meet friends tomorrow for a late breakfast and then maybe a ide somewhere too.
Came home and visited over the fence with the neighbour for a bit while her hubby and son were digging a fire pit so they could roast marshmellows tonight. Tom played fetch with the dog until she was pooped out. All in all a good day. I love this time of year whe all the kids are outside yelling and playing, this is when I miss having little ones at home the most.
Jenn is coming home on Monday to take care of some banking for school, so I will be able to give her the easter gift I got for her. I found some yellow rubber ducky earbuds for her ipod.....lol I have been buying her rubber ducky things for ever, she has quite the collection. Her friends think she has some sort of fetish for ducks or something, she always tells them it is her crazy Mom. It is getting harder and harder to find interesting ones, so this year will be good. she will get a laugh out of it.
