Spent the week with inlaws
Hi , Ijust spent a week with my husbands parents who speak french but know how to speak English. I normally have trouble spending a weekend with them with my family and I usually end up going upstairs to escape. My husbands family has chosen in home hospice for my mother inlaw. I was asked by his sisters to do some things like get her to wear depends at night and look into getting more help at home. If he spoke 10 sentences to me the entire time I was there that would be alot. I got critized for using too much coffee, leaving the frig door open too long calling the hospice nurse when my mother inlaws feet became quite swollen. I greeted my husband at the door when he arrived on Friday with my suitcase in hand ,legs trembling and crying. I started to hyperventilate in the car. I told him that he could take me to a hotel for the rest of the weekend. I got to the hotel and was still trembling and my husband told me to take a hot shower in which I did and got sick to my stomach in the shower. I had a terrible headache and neckache towards the end of the week. I just wanted to go home. His father undid everything I set up. I am perimenapausal have O.C.D. and have recently severed the ties with my parents due to emotionall abuse . My therapist told me I had to protect my self and my family. My youngest child went away to school and my oldest child has cerbral palsy. My therapist says I have alot on my plate. I am very tired and my chest feels like there is a weight on it. All I want to to do is cry. I have no energy to do anything. I just have a bad case of anxiety. Any suggesstions?
