Spell is breaking

My mum and i have barely ever spoken about my anorexia, instead literally saying the minimum amount possible when i went into treatment.  But after 4 years we finally spoke the truth about it.  It wasn't a difficult conversation, i spoke and she asked questions and told me how she found the experience. In the past i had imagined what i would want to say in a conversation with my mum and wished i could say it all but never believed it would happen, but it did and i shared with her everything.  I think it has taken me that much further on in my journey and it means a lot to know that my mum now knows how much pain this has caused me, and to understand what it did to her, i would never want to go back for myself and for my mum.
