Special Nature Visitors in our garden! :) It's Summer Time Nature! :)
SUMMER TIME NATURE!!! :) oh my! :) on this sweet summer thursday, we got lots and lots of happy nature animal friends visiting our yard, and gardens! :) a butterfly was flying right near us today! :) oh my! :) i got some sweet up close pictures of the butterfly, plus, a mystery garden critter/insect, visiting our garden today! :) it looked like it was a part ladybug/bumble bee/dragonfly/beetle! i got some cool pictures of it! :) we had awesome rainfall overnight, and it turned to a warm sunny sunshine day! :) i am so happy and excited, to share about our plants, and the nature i saw today, and sharing new pictures :) it's a nice relaxing, peaceful, nature-eee thursday! : )Tomorrow's baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's almost time to bake! bake! bake! :)
WILD NATURE! DEEP WITHIN THE HEART OF OUR GARDEN! :) awww! :) Hi angel friends! :) sunshine greetings, and happy nature smiles :) my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and having a great day :) We had a really nice nourishing rainfall overnight :) the plants really enjoyed it :) by the early morning hours, the rain had eased, and we began to see some sunshine peeking through the clouds :) The plants are very happy, and healthy :) today we've been enjoying a relaxing day, seeing lots of nature, all around, including some sweet surprise nature sights, that are always very exciting, and thrilling :)
Earlier, my mom, dad, Kayla, Taylynn, and i were outside, as it was getting nicely sunny, the kids have been playing around our yard :) my dad and mom were doing some organizing/clean up on the side of our driveway, where we had some storage boxes. i was walking around our yard, and gardens, checking in on the plants :) from across our yard, i could see a butterfly, over by the strawberry patch garden :) awww! :) i was looking at our plants, and went into our garden, and began to take a closer look at our jalapeno pepper plants :) it's so neat, and cool to see the tiny little peppers growing :) we love jalapeno peppers, especially when we make fresh homemade salsa :) i was also checking our tomato plant blossoms, and i then noticed a really neat nature surprise :)
There was a garden critter/insect, that was on our yellow squash plants! :) when i first saw it, i thought it looked like a ladybug, then noticed, it had wings, like a dragonfly/beetle, and it also looked like a bumble bee! oh my! :) This was WILD!!! :) i was setting up to take a picture of the garden critter, when it landed on one of the plants leafs, i took an up close picture, plus another pciture :) it was so cool to see! :) it was really neat! :) i was amazed by this nature sight, and was so thrilled, i was able to take some pictures of it :) i'll include the pictures in my journal today :) if anyone knows what the insect is, what kind of species it is, let me know :) i hope to spot the garden critter again :) i continued to walk around our yard, and had another thrilling nature experience, over by our strawberry garden :)
i was walking over by the strawberries plants, and began to spot that beautiful butterfly! :) it was still around! :) awww! :) it's blue and black, and looked so happy, as it was floating and floating around, and landing upon our garden area :) i was standing still, with my digital camera on, and the butterfly landed about 15 inches from my foot! :) oh my! : )This was SUPER MEGA SWEET AWESOME!!!! :) i was so excited, because i know i was gonna be having a very good opportunity, to take pictures of the butterfly :) i super zoomed in, and was taking some pictures, i was in my nature heaven, getting to see this very cool nature experience, up close, and i was thinking of you all, as i took the pictures of the butterfly :) i said, "Dad, look at this butterfly!" :) and he saw it flying around :) Kayla and Taylynn, and my mom got to see the butterfly up close too :) We love these amazing, and heart-felt nature experiences :) i went back indoors to get my other digital camera battery, and went back outside :)
Over by the raspberry truellis, where i put our new garden shepherd's pole, i saw the butterfly again! :) it was the same butterfly, and was landing on the ground area :) i took some more pictures :) this was so cool, seeing these nature animal friends, visiting our yard, and gardens :) it's a very heart warming joy, knowing that they are enjoying our yard, and plants, seeing all of the flowers, and all of the gardens around : )our clover flowers :) i spotted buzz the bumble bee too! :) this was amazing! :) i was taking lots of new pictures of our plants too : )i am so happy, we have some beautiful sunshine today, and it's also very warm too, so the plants are soaking up the warmth, they always grow so much, after a good raining, and it gets warm, the plants are flourishing nicely in the gardens :) my family and i have been getting lots of wonderful joy, and happiness, with lots of peace, from our yard, and gardens, this s eason :) it's so nice, and a special joy, to our hearts, getting to share in, and celebrate these wonderful nature joys with everyone :) it's summer season, and our gardens are flourishing :) We're very happy :) These are very special times, lots of great memories being made :)
my family and i enjoy lots of BBQ cookouts, this time of the year too :) During the evening yesteerday, we had a nice spontaneous BBQ cookout :) it was so nice :) my mom grilled hotdogs, on the BBQ grill :) my sister Lisa, made seafood salad for us to make sandwiches :) Kayla and Taylynn made smores! :) they were so proud, to make the smores for everyone :) We enjoyed the BBQ, and it got a bit sunny outside here during the evening too :) it was great! :) my dad and i walked around our yard, and gardens, checking the plants :) we love our summer time nature walks :) our tiger lillies, will be blossoming soon :) my dad gave me a really cool compliment :) he said, "you got these plants growing great!" :) awww! :) it made me very happy to hear the compliment :) We love talking about the plants, and nature, as we check in on our gardens :) it was such a nice nature walk :) We'll enjoy many more nature walks during the evenings, during this wonderful blossoming summer season :)

Sounds like another wonderful day, dear Chris!!! Loving those garden pics today with the bugs... Hmmm... You mystery bug looks like a beneficial bug--just watch for damage on the foliage of your plants, but I\'m pretty sure he\'s a good one!!! And the beautiful butterfly is another GREAT GARDEN BUG! One of our pollinators which are so necessary for our crops!!!
The morning found me in the garden as well where I got the rest of the mulch laid in the other raised bed... It ain\'t pretty, but I think it will help a great deal with the weeds that are trying to take over... It will also help in August to keep the moisture where it needs to be for our plants... Lots and lots of happenings everyday and I\'m happy to report that my mower belts were replaced today!!! The boyz will be back tomorrow to mow and weed-eat so the farm will be presentable once again! I also picked more blueberries and promptly ATE EVER LAST ONE of the half a pint I picked... YUMMO!!! Also YUMMO where the chocolate mini cupcakes I baked today! New recipe--one box of devils food cake mix and 2 cups of pumpkin and THAT IS ALL!!! The mix is really thick and must be folded together, but the results are FANTASTIC!!! Nothing like easy baking for boyz who mow!

WOW!!! What a lush, green just amazing garden, Chris. I can tell that you tend it with a lot of TLC! It sure paid off, and I am so happy that you all had sunny weather for it all to grow...God is good, he creates nature to be amazing and so therapeutic to see! Grapes are getting big and so are your raspberries! me, I mowed the lawns, and walked with Fritz,cleaned the kitchen and then watched Rectify.
